This X 10 on the first sentence. I'll admit I might try it out as well this year. I'm a big association/classic mode guy though so if I do it, it will probably be something I try next summer if I still have the game because I'm planning on actually trying to do a few seasons in association, including playing every game in year 1...something I've never managed before. 82 games...I...can...do it! A marathon not a sprint.

Glad for the myplayer guys that their insight is here though for sure.

well i hope they show some things that will keep us playing the mode because after the first couple of seasons my player gets boring.

There's just so much you can do about that I'm afraid. Don't get your hopes up for something extra coming after 3-4 seasons.

Ipodkingcarter talked about how you might be getting your sig skills after season two cause that's when you'd be able to afford them. That would make the mode playable for a while since you always have something to "unlock".

Otherwise I don't think there will be anything radically new or different past the first 3-4 seasons except for the mode itself. If they fix gameplay so that My Career plays as well as other game modes that will suffice for me though.

Yeah, I do too actually... which is too bad.
Reason why i'm not playing more than one season is because the AI isnt any good.

Imagine if we have customizable sliders for My Player so that the slider gurus on this site could tweak them?

This is what killed it for me. The AI and the offseason were terrible in MP. And the lack of sliders didn't help. I had sliders tailored just the way I liked the game to run then I play MP and I can't run through the lane without getting grabbed 6 times. So frustrating.

I'm enjoying the time deadline releases of these past few days (8am PST). I like knowing when information is coming.

Don't quote me on this, but I think I may have heard someone say today that the My Player video would be longer than the other videos we've seen up to this point. Perhaps I'm just imagining that though. Either way, I agree that I'd most enjoy a detailed write-up alongside a video report. The videos have been a little less thorough than I envisioned them being at the start.
