dude, calm down it will come out today. XBOX nearly always gets patches earlier in the day then PS3 does. Not sure why, but nearly every major patch XBOX beats PS3 to the punch.

Am I the only one having a great time with this granted I was playing a play now match....but yea had a great game that went into to overtime.....just to have the new rules not work.....sigh

I scanned through the post but didn't see any confirmation other than a few mentions of it.

Can someone confirm if online user vs. user CCM games get the accelerated clock now? Or does the accelerated clock still only work for user vs. CPU in CCM?

Word on the EA Forums is that there is a problem with the patch, and EA is fixing something and we should be able to re-download it later today.

I don't know if this is true, and i don't understand what it means exactly, but several posters on the EA Forums are saying that this is why no changes are evident yet even after getting the update.

Where on the EA Forums? I just looked in the Madden General Discussion forum and didn't see this talked about anywhere.

Is that confirmed by EA, yet?

A couple of posters mentioned this within a few threads, which is why I said that I didn't know if it was true or not.

I'm kind of hoping it is, and that's why no changes are noticeable yet.

I'll look through the threads again and post a link when I find it.

I'm glad you cleared that up, it is hearsay. Nothing has been mentioned anywhere on their boards about this (by EA). I see a few posters saying things but that doesn't mean squat. I've played a few games in my already running offline CCM and it doesn't appear that there are now new or worse problems than before.

This is why I hope they only focus on minor things that won't mess the game up overall. I mean I understand some complaints but some people want a whole another game. I actually like M13 and I hope this game is not completly ruined just to satisfy a few negitive reviews.

Everyone's mileage varies. I am really enjoying the game, more so than years past. I prefer tweaks to the current, maybe a few "tertiary" fixes (uniforms, gameface, sound fixes), rather than adding anything that could screw the current game up. Anything to match the Online CCM with the Offline CCM would be great to.

Yep...but nobody wants to read...or comprehend. This is nothing new.

But the lynch mob mentality persists.

We are all frustrated we have a game that is incomplete. But what else can you do?

I am playing other games. No reason to get worked up over a video game.

We were sold a product and we'd like to use it the way we were told we could.

Imagine buying a car and being told after that they'll add the A/C knob later. It's only gonna be so long driving around hot that you give up. Yeah, it's usable but c'mon.

This is why I usually trade Madden in a quarter into the NFL season. Broken at release, patches promised, takes forever, loss of interest, trade in...

It's genius, though. They get the money and we get an unfinished product that we won't get a full return on when we trade it in.

So, yeah, people are frustrated.

The entire code was scrapped, and they used very little of the old code in this new game. [/I]

A buddy of mine just told me that his schemes are now saving in offline ccm. Can anyone here confirm this or is he just yanking my chain?

iam calm lol sorry bout that lol i just want the patch cus we cant edit players. it seems sony can only edit for now the new 53 man roster is the closet we will get i really dont care about cutting players due to the fact u cant edit there positions but as long as the patch drops out today at some point for the ps3 ill be okay
