P.S. There are still some teams that have yet to have a player rating revealed by 2K, including not a single player from one of the three Texas teams. Some teams have 2 or 3 players revealed already. I'm not even from Texas, but that ain't right.

O wow i say 1+ over Gasol.

Gasol is way better than bosh. If Ibaka is an 81, griffin 86 and Pau a 87, I think Bosh will be like a 82-84. He has no back to the basket game and is average on defense.

Pau can do everything bosh can do and more

Pau gasol 87... what a joke lol, i can see it now i'll be playing the Lakers and Heat 95% of the time online.

If Gasol and Nash do well during the season these dudes will be hitting 90 ovr rating boosts. Bth gasol and nash are in the high 80's already which means the whole Lakers starting 5 have a good chance at being in 90's ovrls minus Artest

But you love cheesing, so chances are you will put away your Nets and pick the Lakers any ways.

Regardless of what people think, Pau Gasol is still one of the best skilled big men in the league.

Gasol is way better than bosh. If Ibaka is an 81, griffin 86 and Pau a 87, I think Bosh will be like a 82-84. He has no back to the basket game and is average on defense.

Pau can do everything bosh can do and more

Bosh is a demonstrably superior defender to Pau. Very good pick and roll defender and a real solid help defender. His defense in the Finals was huge, and I say that as a Thunder fan.. Plus he's a versatile offensive weapon.

Yeah in terms of skills you're right. He lacks heart, motivation and toughness though but that doesn't translate into video games very much. I love the Lakers but Gasol's attitude has annoyed me a lot over the last 2 years.

Yes, If bosh was the Second option he would be consider in the top 2 Pf in the league. And plus he is much quicker then gasol

LOL so Pau wasn't a third option on the Lakers offense last season? Kobe - Bynum - Gasol. Bosh is nowhere near the player Gasol is, in terms of skill. On Defense he is arguably better...but just that.

They are two different types of defenders for post players. Pau is a great post up defender at the PF spot - 7 foot tall with a hand up is going to make life difficult for the majority of back-to-the-basket power forwards. He's much more of a deterrent than bosh in this regard. But Gasol is not good when he has to move his feet where Bosh excels at.

At the end of the day, Pau has more skill than bosh. Gasol can shoot the midrange like bosh, FT like bosh, and actually has back to the basket weapons and those count toward a player OVR rating on 2k
