This video is also available on the OS Youtube channel, please subscribe while you're there.

Check out the first video dev diary, Inside the A.I., for Activision and Eutechnyx's NASCAR The Game: Inside Line. Meet Ben Nealon who is the Lead A.I. Programmer.

That was a pretty informative vid, IMO. Thanks Steve!

I like what they are showing and saying so far.......I just hope it all comes together well in the final product in November. I think most of us who played NTG11 are tempering optimism with caution.

I'm definitely interested in this one -- I'm sure it will be an upgrade from 2011 -- the question just is how much? Still not seeing any pre-order incentives. Otherwise, I'll wait on the other reviews before purchasing. 2011 had a $25 Amazon credit for pre-ordering -- I doubt we'll see that much, if any, this time around.

There's definitely a lot more going into this game as compared to last year's. I still would like to see local multiplayer qualifying if doing split screen, rather than starting last. Also the pit road A.I. needs to be improved too. The A.I. needs to compensate for you pitting.

The paint schemes won't be the only thing necessary of an update, the cars are changing too. I hope they include all of that stuff considering this game doesn't come out until the season is pretty much over. I will wait this year until I see loads of reviews.
