    Seriously?!

    So, silly me...

I decided to cave in and play several online ranked games last night. Knowing full well i would run into a cheese player. The good news, i never actually ran into that "cheese" player. i actually enjoyed some really good games. The bad news though, ran into people who still can't accept losing. So they would quit, and instead of getting the win or finishing the game against the cpu, the game was just thrown out along with the stats.

This happened to me on 3 different occasions. I lost like 3 hours of my night and accomplished nothing. Even sent messages to the other guys. The worst response i got was a simple, "deal with it."

    Ugh!!

My question is why do they not award the player who did not quit a win? I don't care about possible internet connection problems because, well deal with it, but at least giving them a loss and you the win will cut down on "quitters".

DC quitting is a bums backup plan, I dont understand why they even buy the game and go online if this is the life they lead gameplay wise. It must suck to be so pathetic to resort to such desperate tactics. wish we could keep a stickied thread with the names of people who do this in order to avoid or expose them!

If a DC by the opponent gave the other person a win you'd literally have teams of people making games together just to disconnect and rank up quickly.

With the current system yeah it sucks that you don't get points for winning but at least the disconnecter's DNF % goes up.

Does it really go up though?

If the system can't decipher what the difference between a bad connection that cuts out vs. a bad sport who simply pulls the plug, then how does it figure true dnf% ?
