Everything else has been said, so I won't beat a dead horse, but explain to me what everyone likes about the jerseys on this? To me it looks like they don't move or flow, almost like they're painted on.

The jerseys look very realistic if you ask me. They are form-fitting and tight like real NBA jerseys, but they have some movement around the waist. They just look good.

the thing that boggles my mind the most: Why doesnt EA focus on developing next gen Tech (engine, physics, gameplay) and scratch their current Gen basektball efforts...im not in love with 2k....but from the footage so far they wont be able to compete until 2013-14 at best....so why not try to be the best Sim right out of the next Gen gate? Anybody agrees or am i just stunned out of my mind by this trailer?

I agree, thats what they should have done. After the debacle of Elite and the time is took them to put together a whole new development team, their goal should have been on making sure they had a great game for the next gen console, instead of trying to rush the new team to get a game out. They should of took their time and allowed the new development team to work together and get acquainted with each other for awhile and allowed them to work on the game for at least a couple of years to insure that they wouldn't have another disaster again. Now this will probably put them even further behind 2K in the long run. Its really poor decision making from the people at the top of EA's basketball division.

Lol at EA. They need to throw in the towel and just give up. 2K Sports has them beat in this category. The only thing I liked from that trailer was the faces. Everything else still needed work.

WOW, faces look amazing, but everything else is fail, stiffness, lag or framerate still present even though it seemed they tried to hide it, dunks and animation look horrendous, its just not up to par like it should be after taking 3 yrs off, would make a excellent game for ps vita, but for this gen consoles, its just not there in my opinion!

You guys are bugging! That trailer was great. Please take off the 2k glasses guys. The player faces look great. Just because they go a different direction in body art doesnt mean its bad. Doesnt 2k have a problem with guys looking way more brolic than they really are and live has a tendency for all the guys to look lean! The hate for this game is comical, untill ea releases gameplay i will save my comments for gameplay

man you got low standards. Notice that player models are all the same, notice how stiff the players move, notice how bad the basic animations are? put on your glasses kid. and BTW this isnt 1960 where players wore form fitting jerseys lol thats oldschool, current players wear baggy jerseys so they can were undershirts

Someone please make a side by side comparison of the 2k official and live official vids so he can see what a real game looks like!

only way ea can compete if they just tear this game appart from the ground up start fresh... i still see dunk animations from live 98. theres no signature style. every player moves exactly the same whether a dunk,layup,jumpshot ,pass or block. just so disappointed in the franchise that made the first game (lakers vs celtics) i had for my sega genesis. all i can do is smh

Fire the entire team.

Hire people who rise to the challenge, who know how to program a game.

EA you make billions of dollars, surely you're not strapped for programming talent?

I've got some friends who you can hire that will make you a great basketball game in half the time it takes you to make another Live game.
