At this point I think it's safe to say EA's focus is looking at online gaming rather than the offline sim community.

UGH. Oh well. At least I dont have to buy another copy of M13 since I sold it last week. The truly sad part is that everything thats missing shouldnt have been missing to begin with and the stuff that's being added is just for online players. I guess that EA guy was telling the truth when he said that EA wont be developing single player games next gen.

I think a lot of people let the opening week scare them away from solo online ccm. The drops have been addressed. It was a new release issue

I had it happen to me recently but it wasn't often I think the bigger consideration should be for those who don't have live or have isp issues.

How are they "punishing" the offline player? You can still play Madden offline. Or you could buy a PS3 and play Madden online for free.

There are perks to paying for XBOX Live when you own a 360. Stuff like this is one of those perks.

How? Are you serious? Look at all the issues the offline CC has compared to the online. Look how they are adding fantasy draft tomorrow for online, but not offline. Now would you like to ask that question again?

Exactly...All it takes is losing one or two games due to server crash to really put a damper on the whole "Immersion" factor.

We all get it, they want us playing online, they are the one bragging about online league numbers. Also, having an online league puts you at the mercy of when they decide to shut the down the servers. Lets just say hypotheically a madden is released full of bugs (I know real stretch) and for what ever reason you want to skip a year or two and just continue your franchise, well if it an online league they can cut it off at the next years release.

Because offline CCM should be the same as online CCM but it's not, online is far ahead of offline

I think he was referencing the solution some were offering of playing a 1 person CC online to use fantasy draft which currently isn't available offline

LoL.. I saw the announcement and revealing at the same time.. This is disappointing to say the least, I just hope NCAA doesn't do all this 'you have to play online, for better service crap', cause the time between NBA 2K's are soo long it feels

I have a PS3 too, but don't see the point of playing online for no reason

I literally haven't played Madden in over a week since it crashed on me. I even went as far as deleting my CC because the server crashed after a played a great game. I hate the feeling of playing a game over I just played and not getting same results. I just hate that. I am even thinking about trading it in now because well it still is basically the same game outside of physics and pass trajectories.
