Agreed, but none of us would be even having this discussion if they didn't take out things that shouldn't have ever been taken out in the first place.

The internet is something that's a lot more useful than a damn video game. If you are caring about video games but not the internet, you have some very interesting life priorities that are definitely not shared by productive adults.
At first I was with Aussie, but I understand your point now. Now affording XBL on top of your current Internet and gaming medium, that's a little different story.

Very true.. So I will at least be able to do a fantasy draft online with my friends in our own private league? Sorry for all the question's lol this got me real excited. Might have to trade in some games for the 30% towards madden special.

This is simply not true. Add to that, you have no idea "how much" or "how hard" it was to add a fantasy draft mode to this game, so I don't see how you can be putting value statements like "more than other devs".

My other point to this is "other devs" of "other sports games" take the time to get their product right. They don't have to shoe-horn in missing features to appease their customers because they made sure not to take them out in the first place.

Internet is starting to be one of the necessities of life. Most job applications are done online and companies always ask you to send them your resume through email. He's just saying with this new shift to this online world we live in, having Internet should be a higher priority than having a gaming system and spending $60 on games.

I live in Massachusetts and there are certain things the RMV make you do online and that they don't do it in the offices anymore. It's becoming the new way of life.

If you're not in the civilized capitalistic western world, then why the hell do you need an Xbox or Madden 13?

You're describing an incredibly unambitious life where people who are in bad situations, wherever the country, simply sit back and play video games rather than try to make the necessary moves for a better life for themselves and their children.

If you can get your hands on and have the necessities for video games, then you at the very least have the opportunity to get out of the position you're in.

I can't respect a person who would rather play video games offline for the rest of their lives while sitting back and having their lives ruined around them. It's an incredibly immature way to think.

i completely agree with that, but all im trying to say is that not everyone should be classified the same. I love the internet i use it every single day. some people in this world are less fortunate and do not have the abilities to have the internet for whatever reason it may be.

Those people should not be focusing on video gaming. It's not your grandmas Nintendo anymore. It's expensive and habit forming. Internet broadens your mind and allows you to look further than your window into the world that's around us. If internet is not in your area that's one thing, but if your trying to say someone can afford gaming but not afford Internet...their priorities are way off.

The internet can broaden the mind if used for that purpose but it's also full of BS and can easily dumb down an individuals intelligence also. Want to broaden the mind there are Libraries for that, also though something as a game system and a game is expensive true but it's a onetime deal while the internet is essentially a bill thrown on top of you other living expenses so a person may save for something they want like a gaming system and a game later so therefore it can be affordable even if on a low budget while the internet may not be in there best interest if your income is too low to budget it in. Also most games now and days require broadband connections and that is an easy $40 a month. But I see all points of the arguments though

I'm not even trying to say he holds that opinion. I'm just saying in my position, I don't find that to be a mature way to live your life.

If the focus isn't to be a mature adult, then that's fine. But to say video games SHOULD be part of your life when you can't afford something as basic as internet access is pretty weird and sounds like the priorities of a child more than an adult. If you're in a position to acquire and play video games, you're in a position to afford internet access. And most people would certainly choose the internet over video games considering the career and life opportunities the internet can provide.

When I was a kid, I would gladly have shared Aussie's outlook.

Seriously to all the people that are complaining about having Franchise Back?
If you do the Coach Connecting Career its the same as a FRANCHISE, you dont have to progress the players manually... you can have it do it for you by just hitting a button?

No offense but I actually like having to scout players and not know what round they go in. Its part of doing the work and finding the "Steals of the Draft"

Connecting career as a coach is way better than the Franchises of the past. they just need to add Training Camp, Restricted and Unrestricted free agency. And the career mode would be set.

Seriously if its that big of a problem... Go play Madden 12!
