Am I alone in thinking it was quite cool to sit and watch that trailer, and imagine if those two great teams could ever face off how awesome it'd be.

Not really bothered if they haven't got shoes or colours right, that's not exactly important.

No I'm just being realistic. When you max out the processing power you need to take something away from somewhere to put it somewhere else. Madden hasn't changed graphically the last two years either, nor mlb the show. That's just the way it is.

I know I'm going to get some flack for complaining, but I'm really bothered by the graphics looking exactly the same. The game really looks untouched graphically, and it just baffles me that graphics are usually the easiest thing to upgrade(especially when you have a yearly thread showing you what needs to be fixed). Just things like bird having the mullet, Ewing, Stockton, Pippen and Malone all having the same cyberfaces, from 2k11 and 2k12 which were inaccurate, I think the legends faces being off is why I'm disappointed, I mean they are legends and I think they deserved to be in the game the right way.

But speaking on just the trailer, I thought it was pretty good. I kinda expected a cliffhanger when I saw the scoreboard. I like some of the player movement, d will crossover looked explosive, cp3 spinning off of Jordan was nice. The thing I didn't like was, what it looked like kobe sliding passed a defender when he changed his layup. It looked 2k12 ish.

It does make you wonder what the 2K art team responsible for models and faces does on the non-major-graphics-upgrade years. Make some rookies, fix a few stars, and call it a year? Perhaps they're busy doing 2K14 already and preparing for another complete overhaul.

I think this year's game might most strongly resemble a previous years of almost all the 2K releases.

and just my last post, we pay to get a simulation game because they sail their game as a simulation game!!

i think they should be honest with us and tell us that is impossible so it's arcade or casual game!!!

if this game was so good a lot of people i know who knew Jordan in the past were always talking with me of NBA 2k11 or 12 or 2k13 news and the come back of Jordan in Video game.

For my part i'm happy of NBA 2k12 and i played a long time to nba 2k12.

But simulation game is respected gameplay ok, but respected the big big big second part of the simulation, Graphics!!!!
and graphiscs it's good shoes, good face, good crowd, good classics court, good lightning etc etc

and gameplay is not a real simulation because watch the pull up of Jordan it's not a real pull up man!!!!

once again wait and see, it has been unecessary to watch news on OS since 2 months!!

Agreed but I thought Jordans face in 2K11 looked better than what is shown right now in this trailer. What has happened to him?!

And KD's head looks so weird, when he bends over and you see it from the top. Has a weird shape.

Because hairstyles have nothing to do with graphics. That would have to do with the art dept(whoever works on the player likenesses).

I agree that having the right shoes and gear etc goes a long way to making things authentic, but christ, shouldn't we just be HAPPY that Jordan and the legends are in the game at all? I'd rather have them in with poor gear that we can change than not having them full stop.

Trailer was a little underwhelming to be honest, music was poor and the graphics were a little dodgy. Although we all know Jordan splashed that shot in Kobe's grill at the end.

Dream team all day.

So we get to see some 4th quarter action and no sweat only an odd shiny effect.....player movement is very organic and seamless but when it comes to the skin it looks dull and lifeless.

They wore those just for preolympic games. They look ok in the video.
