I forgot about drummond, I might just take detroit out for a test drive as my first association, knight, monroe, drummond is one hell of a foundation to start with.Comment

There's a difference between teams that will be tough to play with and teams that will be tough to use in Association with. Since this is about Association, I actually think the three teams you mentioned are three of the EASIEST teams to use.
Miami, Lakers, Bulls and etc will be some of the hardest. Reason being, they're all over the cap, and have older twilight stage vets with less than 3 years left on all their contracts -- with the exception of the Thunder because they have all good to great young players at every position and all of them are locked up for many years to come. They also have the Bird rights of Harden so he would be easy to re-sign (if he doesn't get re-signed sometime by the game release anyway).
Teams like the Cavs, Cats, and Kings have good solid young players who can become future stars (some even superstars), and LOADS of cap room to take a run at players like CP3, Dwight Howard, Andrew Bynum, and Josh Smith among many other formidable role players. You can build a great team in 1 year for the next 8 years with these bottom 3. Or, you can have fun for 2 or 3 years with the teams you have. I'm choosing the former.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13: Three Toughest Associations to Play With
What? He obviously didn't watch any Kings games last year if he insists on Jimmer as the starting PG.
Thomas last year was the much better 3 point shooter and Tyreke started becoming even more dynamic by moving to the SF position where he could cut to the basket and make easy dump off passes to Cousins or finish strong at the rim.
That, along with the fact that Thornton was our best scorer (and clutch player) last year means that Tyreke should stay at the SF spot. Not to mention Thronton won't be at that much of a height disadvantage if he stays at the 2 instead of going to the 3.
Also with the fact that both big men on the floor can shoot that mid range jumper that opens up lanes to the rim for Evans and Thornton, making it much easier to get an assist or foul call if a big man comes over to help.
PG: Thomas
SG: Thornton
SF: Evans
PF: Robinson
C: Cousins
That's not a bad lineup. So, if you would please refrain from speaking about my Kings without backing up your points I'd appreciate it.Comment

i dont think any team is deemed a "cheese" team. i think the teams he mentioned all have stars so "cheesers" run with them bc they have gifted players. personally i play with LA very seldom online but I always been a sim player.
