    The Clevland Browns!

    Rebuilding the Browns:

I wanna hear some of your guy's opinion on how you would approach rebuilding the Clevland Browns?

There are so many different ways to start and so many pieces that needs to be filled.

Well, I would have went after a good qb this year, and not Weden personally. Browns have a good defense, the qb and wr's just can't move the ball at all.

The first thing I always do, is beef up the offensive line. After that, I work on getting a couple of wide recievers.

I usually get a free agent for the line and another in the Draft. I fill in the rest of my spots with the draft too. Really try to play with different schemes as well.

Get rid of everyone except Haden, Thomas, and Richardson...get a pass rusher and another good young corner...build from there

Sell the team for a bag of footballs and 3 porta-a-potties and be glad somebody gave you anything for that joke of a club then find another team to rebuild!

False. Alex Mack, Josh Cribbs (as a returner) MLB Jackson, TJ Ward, and their DT's are all solid.

                      Terrible advice.

Full disclosure: I dont have madden. I'm thinking about getting and might tomorrow, but they whole run into your blockers and fall down or them being pushed into the QB has me not wanting to. So my advice is just based off of being a Browns junkie.

I'd go with a great wideout. Josh Gordon should be able to be a solid #2 in time. Travis Benjamin can be a speedy #3. I would also get a legitimate TE. I would keep Weeden or draft a replacement, I think he's serviceable with a back like Richardson. I would find a solid #2 CB (I know Skrine is fast but I watch him a lot in preseason and I think he's a stud nickelback, but not #2 worthy. Sheldon Brown is just too long in the tooth. IRL the rookies OLBs look damn good, doubt they would amount to much in Madden. D-line should be fine with Sheard, Rucker, Taylor and Rubin. Safeties should also be fine, I always hear great things about Hagg, but as this is Madden I'm sure he's probably rated like a bum so I suppose you might want someone new opposite Ward.

So yeah, this is probably useless as I don't have Madden ratings to look at but I just get excited whenever I see something about the Brownies posted on here! lol

                        On offense:

Start over with the WRs. Pick up some FA WRs that can actually catch (or Weeden will not progress). Draft some guards.

                        Defense:

I switched to a 3-4. Move Sheard to OLB, Rubin to DE, Brown to FS, and start Skrine. Draft more linebackers.

Burn the stadium down and move to a different city, desperate to ignore that there ever was a return to Cleveland football.

Oh, and maybe hire Tim Couch as the coach of your new franchise.

Haden develops into a monster corner, easily catches up with Revis as the best corner on the game. His only weakness is speed which is at 91, but he still able to keep up with the faster recievers due to his press rating. Locksdown half of the field. Ward is also a good young ss that makes it real hard to throw on that side of the field, plus he has good run support.

Richardson also turns into a monster, he has good spd and his trk is already in the 90's this is who I would build the team around, pick up a few blocking Te's and run the jumbo stretch play.

Trade both McCoy and Weeden for some draft picks or young qb with good playaction skills b/c of the running game with Richardson. Try to find 1 possesion wr and 1 deep threat or use Benjamin.
