AI team tendencies for me are most important. If teams aren't playing like real life counterparts, I dont see a reason to start an offline connected career. Online mode it works tho with pass happy teams actually passing the ball while offline is messed up.

Once again, I'm just wondering if the schemes/player roles of the players are saving, or the actual coaching schemes?

Are they all still west coast/spread or do the actual name changes save?

If I change to wildcat and hybrid for example, will it default back to west coast/spread?

i want to know this as well. anyone know?

Come on now, if you currently have Madden 13 you can start a new CCM (without deleting your old one) to see if they are working correctly...much quicker than waiting for someone to respond, if your not at home to check I can understand asking.

Understandable. I just checked myself and yeah it still says West coast/Spread unfortunately.
For created coaches at least

Let me try another team maybe it's just the team of choice.

Update: Created Coaches still have the problem of being west coast/spread doesn't matter what scheme/playbook you choose.

Silly question perhaps, but you had the updated rosters from today downloaded and were using them when you checked?

Played 1 half as the Browns vs Eagles 10 min quarter default All Pro. Eagles ran the ball 17 times and passed 8 times. It was constantly run,run pass, punt. Didn't want to endure that in the second half so I quit. Looks like offline connected career is pointless still. This reminds me of messed up player tendencies that happened in Ncaa 12 if you used named rosters. A mobile scrambling QB in Denard Robinson after using named rosters would make his tendencies to a pocket QB. Pocket QB's in turn would be scrambling QB's.

I haven't had this issue. I really think it depends on the team. As an example, I walked over the Packers because I had a strong secondary who made it nearly impossible for Rodgers to pass as much as he wanted. But the Raiders like to run, and they did so very well against me.

I have seen some things that seemed wrong, but I have seen many that are spot on as well.

You can't play one game, with one team and make a judgement. I have played over 100 games, and each team I played was different.

Not so fast, for ps3 scheme is saved after advancing but not if you turn off the game then reload the save.

I don't guess I understand exactly what you are asking.

I started a new CCM, as a created coach. I chose John Madden as my OFF book and Multiple D as my Defensive book.

I chose to Coach the Cardinals.

On the schemes screen, it says Offense is Power Run and Defense is Attacking 3-4.

I can change any player role, for example I changed the QB1 role to Balanced, and both my Kicker and Punter to Power.

Saved my career, turned off my Xbox and then restarted and reloaded my game.

Checked the schemes, my QB1 is still Balanced, and Kicker and Punter are still Power.

My Offense is still Power Run and Defense is still Attacking 3-4.

So. What exactly isn't changing for the others?

As a side note, you have to Advance the week to start the league BEFORE you make role changes. If you don't, they will reset when it starts. But after that you can change the roles as you please.

ok, i been messing with this stuff for the last hour. im on the 360 by the way. this is all with the Raiders by the way.

they did fix it so that your offense and defensive scheme is whats its supposed to be. for example, the Raiders schemes always says Vertical Offense and Base 4-3. not once did i ever see Spread as my defensive scheme or West Coast as my offense.

the bad news is u still cant change your offense or defensive scheme. even when i chose a 3-4 defensive playbook, it still says Base 4-3. same for offense.

i can confirm that positional schemes do save. i even turned off the system and when i loaded it back up they were still saved to what i changed them too.

Played again to the 3rd quarter. Eagles ran the ball 20 times and passed 8 times. Got bored after calling goal line defense destroying the eagles O on first and second down and picking Vick off twice on 3rd down. Offline AI O = run, run, pass, punt with some ints thrown in for some laughs on 3rd down.
