if we use tuner "latest" and click it one to the left and it says 1.01 then we are using 1.02 right? just wanted to make sure.

        Re: New Tuner 1.02

Does anyone think it's possible for the dev team to fix the home-ice advantage for home teams in a tuner? It's small, but a huge part of the NHL for strategy.

Does it make a difference? Look at the tuner note here:

            Tuner Updates:

            Name: Pre-Release
            Date: Pre-09/11/12 (Pre-Release)
            Notes:
            • Increase in penalties across the board (with a specific look at tripping)

            That obviously didn't do anything

No, restart your game and download the new tuner when prompted in main menu. In settings the tuner option choices should be: 1.00, 1.01, 1.02 and latest. And that latest is naturally that new tuner 1.02.

are you talking in regards to Line changes...where the visitor will select the line and as home we can decide which line to play to match/take advantage of the opponent line?

this baffles my mind against EA. in 2011 this was added after long time of people requesting EA to add it. THEN it DISAPPEAR in 2012 (i guess in exchange of goalie fight and smash the glass). NOW ITS STILL MISSING IN 2012. its not a major BUT IT SHOULD BE IN THE GAME...since their motto "its in the game".

If they're going up somewhat, at least it's a step in the right direction. I would hope to see the obvious calls actually being called (ex. hooking that is clearly seen in replays not previously called).

Yes, I just feel like the CPU always has an advantage over me even when I'm the home team because they'll have their top line out there and I have no idea what line they have out until the draw.

Are there any devs on twitter? I don't have a twitter account and I feel like this is one of the best ways to communicate with a dev.

Since this new Tuner 1.02....I've managed a whopping ONE penalty per game.

Especially with the addition of coach mode. I, as coach, should get last change when at home. It would add so much to the mode if I could try to get favorable matchups when at home.

And why would the penalty thing only be increased for something like tripping, there's lots of diff penalty calls in NHL video games

hooking, tripping, slashing, interference, boarding,ch arging, delay of game, roughing and maybe some more, but those are the ones I have seen in NHL11(and previous NHL games). So how is it, that the tuner supposedly only fixes 2 of those...
