If you got into My Career under the More tab then My Progression it will say what your coaches schemes is...if you use an existing coach in the league it will be there default style but if you have created a coach it will always say west coast/spread scheme, it also says it under My Goals. Seems for CCM teams don't change schemes no matter the coaches style of playbook which is pretty lame if you ask me. You can change the type of players you want though as you have stated in the schemes menu and that will save as it should if you make changes.

Re: offline CCM Updated?
It appears schemes are changing on 360 but not on PS3. I can confirm they are not saving on PS3 once you quit the ccm and reload it.Comment

you are correct in the 2 examples mentioned, but when u go into the Schemes menu, it shows the teams actual real default schemes. If you got into My Career under the More tab then My Progression it will say what your coaches schemes is...if you use an existing coach in the league it will be there default style but if you have created a coach it will always say west coast/spread scheme, it also says it under My Goals. Started offline cc tonight with 9ers great 1st game Pack threw more than they ran. Really close game until Culliver picked one off in the redzone and returned it for 6 late. EA must have done somethingComment

Re: offline CCM Updated?
To be clear on this, though -- I feel this MAY be working as intended. I seem to remember hearing that your COACH wouldn't update his schemes until the next season (obviously you would change your player types you're wanting and the like) and once you've started "installing your scheme" it would then change.ok, i been messing with this stuff for the last hour. im on the 360 by the way. this is all with the Raiders by the way.
they did fix it so that your offense and defensive scheme is whats its supposed to be. for example, the Raiders schemes always says Vertical Offense and Base 4-3. not once did i ever see Spread as my defensive scheme or West Coast as my offense.
the bad news is u still cant change your offense or defensive scheme. even when i chose a 3-4 defensive playbook, it still says Base 4-3. same for offense.
i can confirm that positional schemes do save. i even turned off the system and when i loaded it back up they were still saved to what i changed them too.
I'm not sure, and I just got to the playoffs in my online to even see if that is the case there. But, it does sound right.
Also -- I noticed in your signature that there may be a typo for your site?I'm just an old guy sports gamer...Comment

im glad u brought this up Poker because after fooling around with this today thats exactly what i was thinking. To be clear on this, though -- I feel this MAY be working as intended. this is how i see it:
when u create a coach your taking over something that was already built a certain way by the previous coach. when u start a franchise/CC your already in the preseason, there is no time to bring in the players u want. therefore, you have to roll with what u got. therefore, it makes sense that you would have to wait until the off-season to fully implement your scheme. thats pretty sim if you ask me
im very eager to start my coach CC and would love to know if this is really the case. even if its not, the raiders default philosophy is how i would pretty much run my team anyway and im tired of waiting for this patch so i just might start one this weekend.
anyone past season 1?
P.S. oh and thanks for info on my sig. looks like my they took the forum down
ill check it out.

Re: offline CCM Updated?
So PS3 users once again get the shaft by EA.
edit: I just tested it out. Advancing a week and backing out. As long as you save (again there is no auto-save for offline) it will save your scheme and sliders. Injuries also look to be fixed as well, instead of resetting week to week.Last edited by streamako; 09-15-2012, 12:00 PM.Comment
