NBA 2K13: Three Toughest Associations to Play With

What? He obviously didn't watch any Kings games last year if he insists on Jimmer as the starting PG.

Thomas last year was the much better 3 point shooter and Tyreke started becoming even more dynamic by moving to the SF position where he could cut to the basket and make easy dump off passes to Cousins or finish strong at the rim.

That, along with the fact that Thornton was our best scorer (and clutch player) last year means that Tyreke should stay at the SF spot. Not to mention Thronton won't be at that much of a height disadvantage if he stays at the 2 instead of going to the 3.

Also with the fact that both big men on the floor can shoot that mid range jumper that opens up lanes to the rim for Evans and Thornton, making it much easier to get an assist or foul call if a big man comes over to help.

PG: Thomas
SG: Thornton
SF: Evans
PF: Robinson
C: Cousins

That's not a bad lineup. So, if you would please refrain from speaking about my Kings without backing up your points I'd appreciate it.

glad someone caught this. as a fellow kings fan i am in agreement with you. watched every game except two last year and I. Thomas is a good player and somehow is still flying under the radar. and who the hell would start thornton at the 3??!! if you start evans at the 2 then thornton would be a excellent 6th man but in know way do you start him at the 3 spot. Jimmer is either trade bait or a role player at best. the only thing i might change about your lineup is thompson over robinson depending on how they rate JT. at least for a year, he had a good season last year and hopefully is starting to tap into some of that potential he had coming out of rider

Houston just added a lot of talent through the draft. i wouldnt have them in the bottom 3. i would go 1. Magic 2. Charlotte 3. Then maybe Cleveland?? Im having trouble with the last one seeing how most of the bad teams have good young talent that should develop nicely in Association mode

rockets got a decent PG, excellent shooters on wings in martin and lamb, Defensive/rebounding big man in Asik, Stretch PF in DMO, excellent high energy hustle guy in Jones, versitile big man that should be getting alot of triple doubles depending on progression - white, and a true defensive player that can shoot the long ball in parsons. I think we will be alright in 2k13.

Well since I've been beating most the ppl I play online with the Cavs there will be no problem with me doing it again in 2K13 since the team will be even better.

so i guess developing kemba walker wouldnt be as fun? I think in terms of rating yea the bobcats arent anything to even glance at but if you have a good defensive strategy and will use walker as play-maker... this could be a fun team.. dont sleep on BG though... he will light it up REAL quick. I think if your a player who plays 2k and only uses stars with limited knowledge of basketball then yea they dont look appealing. But if you know the game a little bit and have some good sim stick skills.... youll have a good time with em. thats just my humble opinion though.

Well since I've been beating most the ppl I play online with the Cavs there will be no problem with me doing it again in 2K13 since the team will be even better.

new year new game, if they made it so below average teams truely play that way because of player ratings, its gonna be a long year

If Rose is unplayable during association then I'll roll with them since they are my favorite in real life. If not i will roll with the Magic since they have no one and they got rid of those other big contracts.

Three points:

One - The Kings are one of the better teams to start an Association with in 2K13. If you don't like the roster the way it currently is, you'll have a ton of assets with trade value to move pieces around. Two - I can't believe the Magic were omitted from the list of the three toughest 2K13 Association teams. It's going to be an absolutely painful year for those who play an Association with the Magic. The most valuable players on the Magic roster are Andrew Nicholson and Moe Harkless... ouch.

Three - In no way are the Wizards a more promising 2K13 Association team than the Kings. The trio of Okafor, Ariza, and Nene destroys cap room with their bad contracts (for older players) and Washington is going to struggle to score points. Bradley Beal should have decent enough offensive ratings, but look at the rest of that starting lineup (Wall, Ariza, Okafor, Nene). I don't think so...

Honestly I wouldn't have the Kings anywhere near this list and Orlando, Phoenix and Detroit would all be harder to manage in 2k13 (due to lack of a future star) than the Cavs IMO.
