Re: NBA Live 13 Gameplay Video - Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The following post is Sword1986 with a Teenager's mindset from 2004 (year EA took the license)
I just got into basketball and NBA 2K11 back in 2010, because I have grown tired of updating and playing archaic NFL 2K5.
Seeing this game play video brings a smile to my face. EA is suffering from Karma. Forcing my favorite video game NFL 2K out of the NFL market ... now look who is out of the basketball market, not by force, but by caliber.
I remember when NFL 2K5 came out a month earlier and sold for $20.
Who is the one selling their video game for $20 now, EA?
------------------------------
Now for the current Sword1986, 7 years later
It's good to see EA getting their foot in the door. Although the graphics do not look as sharp as NBA 2K13, the fact is, they are releasing a game for the fans at a cheaper price. And it is something to build upon. I am a 2K Fan boy at heart, but I also wish EA the best in improving their product to push my favorite video game NBA 2K to make a better game.
Competition creates the best.
Keep up the good work, EA.Last edited by sword1986; 09-10-2012, 09:30 AM.Comment

"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
