Trading Weeden

I am doing a CCM and am playing with the Browns, but cannot stand Weeden. He is pretty horrible, and teams won't even give me a 7th round pick for him. Has anyone successfully traded him?

nope, tried the same thing and no luck. Thinking of just cutting him since he doesn't really fit the scheme anyways.

i think trading in this yrs game is messed up anyways i remember somebody was trying trade for the dolphins cb to put him on colts before last update and they tried everything and the cmp wouldnt trade so i even tried it offered the cmp 2 #1 picks and a 2nd and it got denied ... now what team in there right mind would pass up on 2 #1's and 2nd for cb???. i havent tried to trade weeden yet but like i said i just think the trading in this game is whack.. so i dont think anything would work in trades.

it definitely has some funny logic around trading players, especially when the trade would remove a player its starting or would put in a position of 'need'. in that situation with the colts->dolphins I would trying throwing in a CB and see what happens.

I do like how on the trade screen it will show you a teams interest level so you dont even have to bother for teams that arent interested.

Only thing I would suggest is finding a team that could use him, switch to that team and go from there. You might have to trade him for a nothing player and then switch to that team and trade yourself appropriate value.

Tried Kirk Cousins. Nope.
Tried Russell Wilson. Nope
Even tried Terrell Pryor. Nope

Then I went through the last resort, tried being another team, trading for Weeden so I can switch back to Browns, tried being Chargers trading Philip Rivers for Weeden....they wouldn't even fall for it.

Weeden is a BUM pretty much is what EA is saying.

hes not a bum its just the trade logic is goofy in this game like i said what team wouldn't give up a cb for 2 #1's and #2 any team would be all over that deal in heart beat but not in madden lol.

lol honestly, I would say that too if I was a Brown's fan. Raider fans were saying Jamarcus Russell was the next coming of a young Daunte Culpepper in his prime for Pete sakes!

I digress...Madden 13 trade logic is wacky. I ended up kicking Weeden off the team and starting McCoy.

Actually he made Weeden look silly through Preaseason.

Trust me. McCoy is way better than Weeden in the game and in real life.
