I HAVE to use auto. I cannot score a single goal using manual to save my life! Doesn't matter what version... 08,09,10,11,12, or 13.

I'm not really sure what you're asking, but this year I'm using Auto as I play with the True Broadcast cam. I really like it.

auto aim was under 'controller setting' in the demo, but can't find it in the retail version. help?

The only place I can set it is right before a game and it is in the game options. Is there a place I can set it outside of a game so I don't have to do it all the time before a game? I could not find it as a global setting anywhere.

There is no global setting. EA has a hard on for manual aim. Even if you play a Be A GM season, you still have to set it, every single game.

Also, Auto aim is also not an option in any online mode, HUT, or even GM Connected. Not even if you are playing solo.

It's a frustrating position E has taken. the best part are all of the online will complain that they game doesn't give them enough clean goals or represent their true aim. So when they can't score, they want EA to make manual aim better.

But what they really want is more auto aim, because they can't aim for crap. But they don't want to know they are getting help. It's ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I am really loving HUT, so I have had to spend more time getting used to manual aim. And even though I've improved, Winning online HUT games last night with 5 and 6 goals, it's still less satisfying than auto aim.

Yes, I showed mad skills by aiming to the corners every time! But when I us auto aim, Iam forced to think way more situationally and to take into account who I am using far more. And the results are way more variety in the ways goals are scored.

But don't hold your breath waiting for EA to provide more love for those of us that use auto aim. I've already have one friend who would play in online leagues ditch the series because he got sick of scoring less than a goal a game on average.

Why can't friends play each other with whatever stye they want?

Couldn't figure out where to change it in HUT. Wasn't in the game setting prior to starting the game. I found it no problem in a play now game mode.

Couldn't figure out where to change it in HUT. Wasn't in the game setting prior to starting the game. I found it no problem in a play now game mode.

It's not available in HUT or GM Connected, even in solo mode.

I use auto aim mainly cuz ratings influence the results.... Not my weak ability with the sticks...

Yep I think they should give us the option in all game modes. I like auto aim cause it is about the ratings which is what I want when I'm playing a sports game. The peeps that play on manual think that its unfair and would be easier to score. I really don't think they have played with it cause if they did they would realize that it is not. I have been shut out and have missed the net with auto aim on cause its about the ratings.

I wish they would also add to the difficulty pro, all star, superstar a pure ratings difficulty which would base the game totally on the ratings of the guys so there would be no boost to either team just the ratings that would matter.

I switched to auto aim this year because of the true broadcast cam. I have to say, I'm actually preferring it to manual aim so far. The new cam helps for sure, but I just find myself worrying more about formations and strategy than trying to snipe corners. I also really feel like it helps with player separation, or more specifically making snipers feel like snipers.

The new skating combined with this have really made my first line feel like a first line and my fourth line feel like a fourth line.

I've always been able to shoot in these games, but switched to auto aim last year. Feel like I can make the game play more smooth, get in position and take passes better without having to aim the shot too. So when I get a 2-1 I can take the pass on the forehand and bury it instead of flubbing a back hand into the corner. Plus when you're scramling for a rebound and you have some net, you don't accidently shoot it to the other side of the net where the goalie is.

Sometimes I use manual as it is fun to pick corners, but auto makes the game play a lot more realistically in my opinion.
