In what world are rondo and cp3 better defenders than lebron? Derrick rose has the EXACT same defensive rating as lebron? Deron williams a close 87? LOL SMFH. And cp3 doesnt get the closer trait? Really? But williams does? Wow.

I'm not the one to complain about out the box ratings but some of these assigned skills are very questionable.

Well Celtics got closest at eliminating the Heat, i think pacers rating are fine

no the are not roy hobbert underated david west underated granger deserves an 85 and two more sig skills and they deserve to be higher than the knicks nets bulls. and no im not a pacer fan im a knicks fan i just think 2k overrated the nets and underated pacers

Whoo I'm glad 2k update their ratings during the season. Some of these ratings are a tad bit off.

Avery Bradley 79 wtf come on

Dirk Nowitzki 85 2k constantly underate this guy.


And Paul Gasoft 87 yeah more like 83 Dirk should have his rating seriously Pau Gasol can't lead a team at all. He's too soft and doesn't have a high motor.

Nate Robinson 77 wow

The rest of the ratings are ok. Just the guys who were injured last year are over rated minus D. Rose. Jeff Green didn't even play last season and he's a 78 lol.

Uh when have the Lakers asked him to lead the team at all? There is this guy called Kobe on the Lakers...he has the team leader thing on lockdown. Has anyone heard of him?

And I love how all the Lakers should be dropped in ratings yet almost everyone else went up due to sig ratings. If the Laker players stay healthy, they have a ton of quality sig ratings to bring them up to where they are. A big IF on the stay healthy part for me though.

Overall rating affect association big time! That's the main problem. Looking at individual ratings is great for playing a single game, but in other modes overalls just screw up the gameplay and immersion. I'm tired of seeing Dirk traded for Orton and a 2nd rounder, and teams like the Warriors doing great.

And if dwyane wade has the closer sig skill im literally going to pop a blood vessel. The guy has literally done NOTHING more than lebron in the fourth quarter according to the stats this guy is clearly going off the eye test. Points assist reboundz game winners NOTHING. And derrick rose gets a closer over lebron? im done.

I agree with this. We don't even know what the player's attributes are. For all we know, Chandler's defense can be maxed out to a Defensive Player of the Year's standard. Just because his overall isn't high doesn't mean his other attributes are wrong.

But isn't it a little bit suspect when everyone else is getting a boost and he isn't? He's one of the most valuable players in the league - 77 is an insult. Monobrow and Ibaka should not be, respectively, rated 3 and 4 points higher than Chandler.

2K's ratings are baseless. Ratings are truer to fanfare and league popularity than each player's actual abilities. There are a few anomalies, of course, such as Avery Bradley's inexplicable 79.

Chris Bosh has been shafted this year. His defense is actually pretty good and the Heat's offense falls apart without him.

I have a problem with several ratings. Jason kidd, anthony davis, kemba walker and some others are rated higher than tyson chandler. bosh should be higher than amare to start the season. i dont understand lin with floor general. TP should be higher then manu as well.

It's whatever, its like this every year. I will say KG is much better than griffin Bosh Amare dirk and duncan.

And lebron shot 36% from 3 but look at the volume. He didn't even average 1 make per game. Obviously with more attempts his % would drop back to ~33% where is usually is.

did you watch dirks play last season, he struggled horribly, gasol product has been down as well, but dirk just plain out sucked after winning the title!
