No gameplay info ???

[Can I live]

did I miss something or have they not really talked about the gameplay this year ? I remember the insights about the new animations, ankle breakers, speed mattering, the kinect, and my career but have they or are they gonna give give us some specific info about the actual gameplay and whats changed this year ?

Now that I think about it I actually would of preferred the actual written insights like last year since they were a lot more in depth than these Video insights which are nice too but besides the My Career video the rest have been real short and not as informative

It is surprising how late in the game we are and how little we've heard about so many things.

What I liked about last years and past insights was this little blurb at the end of each insight...

Next NBA 2K12 Developer Insight: "Art Direction" by Lynell Jinks - Friday, August 26th, 2011

we get an idea on whats coming the next week but as of now it seems like they are going on the fly lol

Now I'm guilty for asking vids to accompany the insights but I was looking something in the lines of this and not in shizzle type hype vids...

Whatever....we have 2 more weeks to go...seems pretty moot now....

I think 2K ENJOYS keeping us on the edge of our seats, so to speak...I can't say I'm surprised though. Hopefully they will drop some good info on us (gameplay wise) , the release date is right around the corner so who knows lol.

Signature skills, my career mode, speed mattering (supposedly), new controls, my team mode, and little things like (improved OA,improved ai in my player)

other than those things I don't really know what to expect gameplay wise

I think they haven't given us enough video showing us actual gameplay that goes deeper into all the improvements but it looks like they are building that on what I think are the last two insights which I think will have to be:

1. playbooks/CPU AI/ offense/defense matchup settings/details
2. presentation/sound.

*bonus might be the LD2K vs. Ronnie video

The Miami vs. Lakers video had gameplay but auto plays on to either hide plays until later or something else. Looking at the videos of the Gamescom footage you can see that the CPU looks smarter more decisive and the spacing is improved passing is faster. I don't think we will get a full insight on the little details which really should be an insight.

But honestly I was gone for a week with no internet and was expecting to come back to a bunch of news -- it seems like nothing was released since I left. I think 2k was just waiting for me to return before releasing anything lol

NOPE so far no one has talked, cried, focus, offered, thought, thinks or cares to speak on gameplay fixes or changes AT ALL. This is what has died in the 2k community. So many casual video gamers and no more DIE hard basketball fans. Man no wonder Jay Z is being pushed down our throats, its more of a gimmick now with all these space ship modes. Hey they might as well throw a dance mode in there, oh wait, there is a "ROCK BAND" mode in 2k now...

All these distractions 2k has to deal with, what ever happened to what got 2k here in the first place. PURE gameplay is what 2k needs, and ONLY needs to work on. Forget this other crap man, seriously.

2k ROCK BAND MODE......hahahaah wow whats next
