I think the "no promises" is in reference to getting the insight written and put out yesterday or today.

How much can they change in Association though, really? Better AI and trade logic, more customizable sliders but i can't see much ground breaking innovation here.

NBA2K13 Association mode is like the iPhone6, updated but not innovated (hopefully the Maps App isn't trade logic...)

I'm not expecting a whole sale change but I would hope they attempted to fix some of the awful team building AI in that mode (for the sake of going deep in mycareer too) but for me they implemented the new CBA idk about you but I myself am not a CBA expert so that's something they should really layout how it effects both Association and Mycareer.

This mode isn't really my cup of tea but it has grabbed my interest..

Yup this is why they wanted to push online feature this year. Now I have to get gold membership to try the demo out if I want to avoid demo and my pre order arriving at the same time. Not cool 2KSports.

You first made me pre order with ASW incentive. Then you make me get gold membership to try the demo out. Want to assure me how fun online matches are? Ok I understand. I will check them out with my new gold membership.

By the way, when are you going to reveal that you are making VC purchasable? Next year or this year? Just come out and say it. I see right through you.

Yes, 2k is making a lot out of you subscribing to online services completely separate from their game and company. Don't play online if you don't want to, play exhibition against the CPU. Don't play the mode at all. But don't complain about an online mode that doesn't take away from your non online experience. No one to blame but yourself if you spend the money to play online. No reason everyone should be deprived of a game mode because the offline folks can't play it. And I hardly ever played 2k online.

My only issue with this, is that I hate the idea of playing a guy that has even just one of the players from my own team. I have David West, and so does he, etc. I'm just a wee bit ocd, and that would bother the heck outta me.

With all of these game modes this year, I will be hard to focus on one game mode. I need at least two years to fully enjoy each modes. Cancel 2K14! haha jk

I see that your original post lacks context and is off topic and you wanted to stomp your feet somewhere. How the demo has anything to do with this mode is beyond me. Have nothing more to say, back on topic.

Mode is amazing the more I think about it. Can run all sorts of teams after playing with one, try different things and strategies.

Though, if you have to apply Sig Skills does that mean the regular Sig skills applied on the players in the other modes arent there by default. IE completely clean slate base roster? Many questions about this mode.

They've said all the Classic teams from 2K12 are back, with the addition of the Olympic Teams & Iverson' Sixers...but does this include the players from the DLC as well?

This applies to MyTeam, because there's a bunch of great players that I'd love to add to my team. Also, the word has been Barkley is only on the Dream Team; but will he be available for MyTeam, too?

I think it will be fun to take all of my virtual currency, "invest" it in some key players (buy low and sell high amirite?) and then turn them over when they do well during the season.

Some players (ie Lowery) I feel will start out high and drop and others (ie Wall) will start out lower and go up as they do better then expected...

To me the mode is like an updated "Magic: the Gathering" that allows each person to play their customized "decks" against each other online. Very exciting for those that like online play ...

The ultimate for me would be to score some of the all-time greats and then put them up for sale getting a premium and turn that over ... rinse and repeat...

I really hope this mode fulfills its potential, which I see as quite high for those that like online play. My greatest fear is that the mode gets hacked somehow and then we see a replay of crew all over again.
