What difficulty will you start on?

Will you jump into superstar or HOF, or do you start off easier on pro or allstar? I have 2k11 and play on superstar so I will probably start their and hope its a small learning curve.

Pro until I'm winning by a lot and got a good feel for the controls, then to All star until I'm winning by a lot, etc. I think too many start off at like Superstar or HOF for their ego and then comeback to the forums and complain "cpu is too hard!" 2 days after buying the game lol

Im starting on Allstar. I feel like Pro is too easy for me but Superstar is just frustrating to start on.

Hall of Fame like always...I don't mind getting beat by the CPU. But I lab in the practice gym to learn the new moves and controls every year until I start playing for real.

All star for spec games, Pro for myplayer, Sim Sliders.

Nice. I'm thinking the same. How long does it take to play a game on 12 minute quarters in real time? Just curious. I usually only play 9-10 minutes due to time constraints.

For me an hour and maybe 10 minutes if there isn't much timeouts, but I play an uptempo game attacking the basket, and guard the paint. If you want the game to go fast just boost the game speed and probably decrease the player speed I got 60 Game and 45 player.

Ideally, I'd like 2k to come out and tell us which difficulty/mode is actually supposed to be the most realistic/closest to nba out of the box, and start from there

I play almost exclusively against other players, so HOF/Sim ~ 6-8min.

I'll start working on my 'My Player' and I'll leave that as it. I'll run a couple games on Pro to get a good feel for everything and then bump it up to Superstar/HoF.

All-star sim sliders, 8 minute quarters. Been my settings since 2k11 I think.
