Re: FIFA 13 Season Ticket Early Release Impressions
For some reason, (this never happened to me in FIFA 12) the accuracy gauge on penalty kicks are off my tv screen, I can't see them at all. Anyone know if there is a setting in the game that will fix this? I have a very old TVComment

Exactly. I have avoided bringing up the other game until now but the way they have the defending and theit containing is a lot better IMO.Comment

Im not so great at the game, so I won't pretend my experience is universally true. But I'm having a lot of fun. FIFA 13 is the only game where I found a difficulty that is both fun and a challenge. I've had games where the mid field is a battle zone.Comment

Re: FIFA 13 Season Ticket Early Release Impressions
I've read in some places that the Euro 2012 Nike boots that were in the demo aren't in the full game. Can someone who has the game confirm/deny?Comment

Customise FIFA-> Video Calibration.
Go there and it lets you expand or shrink the screen some to fit your tv better.Comment

Re: FIFA 13 Season Ticket Early Release Impressions
Played about 5 games on full manual control, and I have not been happy with Fifa 13 so far. My main grip with the game is that there is very little difference between the players on the pitch, no matter the rating.
Dribbling, and ball control on this game are too good for poor and average players. The game as a whole has too much dribbling in it, and doesn't resemble what I see when I watch real high level soccer match. CPU Defenders can ping the ball back and forth with one another while under pressure too easily, and every CPU player can dribble the ball around the pitch like they have a 100 dribble rating. Additionally, the first touch difference between good and bad ballhandlers is not pronounced enough, and the overall individuality of each player is non existent.
If they could tone down the dribbling, and CPU pass accuracy on this game it would be playable for me. However, the fact that I see very little difference between every player on the pitch, and how each individual player plays/controls is what kills the game for me. There is no reason to even have real all of the licenses, players, ratings, and teams if every game plays out the same way.

I did want to say that the aerial game is great in this game. This is the one area where you can tell the difference of the players.Psn: Alabamarob

Wow, complete opposite for me in terms of player differences. I can see massive differences. I have a striker who is very strong, but not fast. If he gets one on one, I can shield with him and do damage. Speed? No way. Omar Cummings has no power, but man is he quick.Played about 5 games on full manual control, and I have not been happy with Fifa 13 so far. My lesser guys can't control as well and can't play well in tight spaces.Comment

But see I like that about the game, as long as it stays consistently inconsistent I'm good with it. Every match I watch IRL you see dives get called as penalties(Valencia today) and true penalties let go as non calls. Overall I think the fouls/cards/offsides has been implemented OK.Comment

Re: FIFA 13 Season Ticket Early Release Impressions
Absolutely agree. Sheffield Wednesday is my favorite club and playing with them is totally different than a club like Liverpool(my second fav). To tell you the truth, I'm really looking forward to starting a CM in the Championship with the Owls, the clubs are almost all very equal and the competitions are intense to say the least.Wow, complete opposite for me in terms of player differences. The fouls and cards are, perhaps, 10% better than last year, but still not nearly good enough.
Yes, it's early and not much data has been gathered (all anecdotal at this point) but with the exception of the jockeying fouls being called more often, it's still terrible.Comment
