Are you satisfied with madden?

Ok so the game has been out for about three weeks. How do you feel about it. Keep in mind it was this devs team first attempt. Physics were not decided to be implemented until january. CCM was being worked on for about 2 years prior to release. Last but not least Looman stated himself that they would not implement things into the game until they worked "perfect".

I'm very satisfied. I am disappointed in the AI play calling though.

Satisfied is different than saying this game is great. But it is very good.

So, Looman thinks the IE and CCM is perfect. Sorry but the fundamentals of football are not even represented. This madden, is just like any other to me. More of the same.

I think its improves each year and it took a big step this year but it has problems im sure can be fixed for example way to many interceptions (lineman jumping 6 feet in the air between two receivers for a one hand pick lol) and ea needs to make a deal with the regular referees it feels like substitute refs are out their with making roughing the passer flags for every time you hit the quarterback or pass interference for barley hitting a receiver when the qb is throwing the ball. But overall the game is much better Ill give it a 7/10 this year.

The more I play the less I like it. CCM felt new at first but after you get past the buggy twitter feed and new (abysmal) menu system it is exactly the same as franchise except with functionality removed. There is literally nothing of substance added. It's slicker but I can't understand how this took 2 years.

Gameplay is better than last year by a wide margin so I like that. There are still game breaking flaws in game like AI play calling and the inability to use custom playbooks and CPU uniforms keep it from being a good game, let alone great.

this game is so frustrating because it definitely has the potential to be a great game, but the reality is it is extremely sub-par due to stripping core features (edit, NCAA draft, 32 team, etc), it being the buggiest game that I can recall EVER playing (30+ years of gaming).

The fact that they are doing roster updates is ridiculous with this game. The non-utilization of IR, practice squad semi-integration and poor roster management AI make the rosters not even close to accurate before week 1 even starts.
Game play is spotty. Sometimes it's great, other times far from it.

Your last sentence is exactly why Madden '13 is not a quality product.

If they would not implement things until they "worked perfect", then why are Twitter feeds, schemes, Infinity Engine, CPU AI all in this game?

This year's game is quite frankly a poor effort. "More of the same" is my vote.

Madden has turned into a game which is solely developed for head to head play. Why? So they can have those tournaments on TV, to further market their weak *** brand. The single player modes in this game are laughable, and single player gameplay is a joke. Each year the game is different, but it still sucks in the same areas.

It seems everyday I get on OS and come to the Madden forums there is a different bug people are reporting with CCM. Makes me want to grab my M13 disc and snap it in half...

What frustrates me to no end is the fact that they say things wont be implemented unless theyre working...so why was CCM implemented? Bc nothing about that game mode works, not even the damn on the field gameplay????

Whats worse is that they were supposedly working on it for 2 years?!?? 2 YEARS and they couldnt find the types of glitches showing up now? The two years must have been spent writing in the pointless Twitter feed stories...Its appalling really.

There are bugs. There are flaws. There are issues that can change the outcome of games. I have these issues as much as anyone here. Nevertheless, I and most others here play the game every day and have logged many hours into the system. If I didn't like the game, I wouldn't play it. Therefore, I vote "Like it".

i love the gameplay of this game. i cant get enough of it . BUT as for CCM i havent even been able to start one and get into the mode because of the fact that the camera angle i play at (zoom) is STILL NOT WORKING..this really disappoints me that this was not corrected by the people who test the game before it is put out for retail.. i can see it not working for multi-player CCM's and online play due to multiple connection issues, BUT there is NO EXCUSE for it NOT to work for single player on/offline ccm...

I choose I like it because I'm getting good sim games in my online CCM. After the patch comes out, there is the potential to either love it or go back to same ole same ole.

We'll see.

For the first 4 days this game did satisfy me, but honestly, after that this game is completely unplayable to me unless I'm playing an online ccm with 31 other human controlled teams.

I've started so many ccm's of my own, thinking "oh this one will work" trying different slider sets every time and nothing makes the game fun against the computer. I feel like I'm playing a 4 year old kid just pressing buttong when I play the CPU and that bugs me to no end. There is no strategy whatsoever.

I'm in a 32 man league online and have played the first week and it was a lot of fun, however I like to have my own franchise with just me running it and running at my own pace, but that can't happen this year because the CPU is a 4 year old button masher.

I have been playing The Show 12 a lot more now because madden made me realize how good of a game it is.

I'm satisfied with the improvement they've made this year but am still dissatisfied with the state of video game football on the whole.
