How many minutes for realistic stats?

I tried 10 minutes, got to halftime and it honestly seemed like forever. I want to try 8 but don't know if that's too little.

Can someone give me a better starting point to try?

Both. More for realistic player stats more than anything if I had to choose one over the other...

130-150 plays total per game which is about 65-70 per team. 9-10 min is what I think most people use. I personally use 9.

I have great success with 8 min quarters - get "realistic" player stats that way.

I've been getting very realistic stats using Jarrods black slider set with 7-8 quarters.

Do not use Jarrods Black slider set unless your a veteran at this game otherwise you will get killed

9 minutes has been the sweet spot for my dynasty. I used to do 8 minutes a couple of years ago, but the # of plays was coming under 120 too often. 9 minutes gets me between 125 and 145 plays per game.

Depends on your sliders and play style. If you call the play quick and never really change the play or hot route I would say 7 or 8 min. If you hot route and change you play often then I would try 9 or 10. This will give you correct plays. 120 to 150 between two teams. If your sliders make you work to move the ball then the plays should give you good stat's.

I dont use current players just classic teams and I am sure many out there feel the same.

ive been getting realistic stats with just 5 min quarters. Ive even threw for over 400 yds with TCU once. had a pretty decent 180 rushing yds with arkansas and 10/10 on 3rd downs. i'd stick with 5 min quarters

Sounds like you need to up your difficulty bro!

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like 7-8 will work well for me.
