They do. And its not a popular opinion I imagine, but I still feel bad for the replacements. Feel worse for the packers, but these are d2 refs who are nowhere near prepared or competent enough for NFL games. And it shows.

I used to be a pretty big NBA fan, but the blatant problems that have evolved with the refereeing in that league have really turned me off to it (I still watch the playoffs, but that's about it).

Sadly, with these replacement refs, I find myself having the same feelings about the NFL. I don't believe it's intentional and these refs are in a bad spot, but the integrity of the games being played is compromised by the piss poor refereeing. It needs to be fixed asap.

This is implying that the referees wouldn't make this call either.

In real time I could certainly see someone calling TD for Seattle, regular or replacement ref. And I could certainly see a regular, or replacement ref upholding the call just to get out of Seattle alive.

Now, the replacement refs stink but just in general refs in every single sport stink.

They may call it a TD on the field, but an actual NFL ref would have been able to see that was CLEARLY an INT.
