I started one with spurs. I made some moves nothing huge, I managed to get theo wallcott for 6.5 and huddlestone(fleeced!)

I switched to a 4-3-2-1

so my team goes:

lloris, walker, caulker(he's up to a 77 halfway through the season from a 74), verts, assou-ekotto, with sandro, dembele, dempsey, wallcott, bale, and defoe.

I took a sizeable chunk of my spending money and spent it on two great scouts and a third decent one.

so far I found an eye-talian goalie who's potential is a90-94 the rest of my youth squad not so much we'll see how they turn out.

I"m two points back of man u for the league title. and I have a massive amount of young talent on my team now.

oh and so far I've rejected every international offer I've received. Though poland is interesting.

Just hired 2 scouts and waiting to hear back from them.

Was just wondering what are the best countries to scout for players ???

Also if I decide to "sell" a player, is he gone right away or do I have to wait for a certain date before he is "sold". Does this work the same way when trying to bring in a youth player from another country ?

Just got into my CM last night and I have to say that it is better than last years so far. I started with Man U and right off the bat Chelsea offered $50 Million for Wayne Rooney. I countered with $60 Million thinking they wouldn't take it and bam they accepted. I was not expecting that. Arsenal also tried to buy Nani but wouldn't meet my valuation. I think that the whole thing just has more layers and depth to it and I hope that it keeps that excitement as you progress. I did notice some transfers that needed an update such as Lucas to PSG and the Russian moves of Witsel and Hulk. Overall, I think it's going to be a time consuming and fun year for FIFA.

My FIFA 13 career mode is going very well at the moment, playing on world class as Alshoulla of the Saudi Professional League, 6th in the league at the moment and in the 2nd round of the Crown Prince Cup after a 4-0 win against Hajer.

Had a budget of 1,200,000 GBP at the start and bought Glaydson and Jean Rolt from Nautico as well as Joshua Rose from Central Coast.

Also have a 2 star scout and 1 youth player from Egypt.

Cardiff City - year one. Trying to get promoted. Bought a couple high potential youngsters at the end of their contracts on the cheap: A German centre back called Ginter and an Ivorian right back called Aurier.

My goal is to get promoted, then try to cobble together Youth Academy recruits and other high potential footballers from around the world as I stave off relegation. Ideally, the improvement to FIFA 13's progression and development means that I will have a squad capable of chasing Europe within 5-6 seasons.

The beauty of these high potential / Youth Academy squads is you can always sell the ones that aren't in the mix for a good price.

Started one with my favorite team Chelsea. I won the community shield 1-0 on a Hazard PK. I then lost my 1st premier game in disappointing fashion. It's now the trade deadline and I'm serious thinking about adding Neymar to my team but i don't know if i will pull the trigger. If I do though my team would probably look like this:

Created myself and placed myself on Chicago Fire (66 overall). Starting a coach career to hopefully use my player to make the Fire a relevant team.

On a side note, I'm completely new to Fifa, have never played and I've never really followed soccer/football so this is all rather new to me. Still trying to get the positions down but I will update as I progress.

Year two of my DC United career and my squad seem to have hit a rut. In year one I made quite a few moves. Put a lot of money into scouts so now I have 3 decent ones with the best being 5 star judgement and 3 star experience (anyone know exactly what impact those have?). got a few good young players in the system and 3 already on the senior squad. A 73 CDM with the tactician trait (or is it specialty?), a 66 backup CDM, and a 65 backup GK who I hope to loan out and eventually make my starter.

Found a 18 yr old ST named Manfriendii (don't think I spelled that right) on the FA who is rated a 78. He is a poacher and a speedster. Sold De Rosario and a few others to free up some cash. Now I got a decent squad (in MLS standards anyway) but something of a money crisis. I also have a great young defender for the year from a loan. He is rated a 78 so that is great.

But the first two months have been rough. Something is wrong with my squad. I finally beat toronto 4-2 but before that the past 6 games resulted in draws because of my team's inability to put the ball in the net. hopefully that last game gets the boys going.

On the international scene I accepted a job managing Paraguay and me and their fans are at odds it seems. My goal is to qualify for the WC but I took over with quite a few matches already played and the squad was second to last without gaining a single victory. Just get enough points to qualify will be quite the feat.
First match was against Bolivia. I won 4-0.
Second match against Brazil. I lost 3-2.
Third match was against Chile. I lost 2-1.
I really needed to at least draw that game but gotta move on. But here is the thing, after the game an article came up. Apparently many of the fans are already screaming for me to be fired. I must say that seems a bit unreasonable. dumb fans, what do they know.

I tried selling Suarez to Inter but he rejected them. I then found what I imagine is a bug when I chose to include him as part of a deal for Neymar. It seems the player you include has no choice on the matter. At least I find it hard to beleive Suarez would choose Sao Paulo but not Inter.

I also managed to ditch Downing, Lucas, and a couple other fringe players. I'm looking to get rid of Henderson and Borini in January to free up funds to sign Sahin permanently.

Started as a striker for San Jose, after 20 games and leading the team in assist and goals I was sold to 1899 hoffenheim. After one game with Hoff I was loaded to Brimingham City to help them get promoted to premier league. It's amazing the talent between my time with SJ compared to both Hoff and now BC, so much better passing.

Started as a CAM at RBNY. I was loan listed before the season started, but no offers came in. I made it to July only playing about 4 or 5 games (it's hard to take Tim Cahill's job).

Accepted a transfer to Everton as soon as the window opened and played 1 friendly for them. I did well (8.9 rating) and Bayern made an offer for me which Everton accepted (of $2 million when they paid $2.1 million for me. WTF?)

I couldn't resist and accepted the move. Instantly realized how stupid it was after seeing Bayern's line-up in the first couple friendlies/league games while I was there. Requested a loan on deadline day and Bayern ok'd it.

Accepted the first offer that came in, from Brondby. Led Brondby to the league and cup double, while improving my pro from a 66 to a 74 in 1 season. I also won the golden boot.

Still haven't been called up to the US national squad yet, though.

I was immediately loan listed by Bayern when I got back and eventually accepted a move to Monaco.

Played in a 4-5-1 at Brondby, which worked out really well for me. Going to be at one of the CM spots in a flat 4-4-2 at Monaco, though, so we'll see how that plays out.

I started a Oxford United wanting to take them to the prem, also made a CAM playing for the Impact but I have a problem I cant load my MM it freezes after I press proceed on the menu... Is it just me who has this glitch?
