I love this time of the year for NBA 2k when everybody is trying new things out.....Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
Easy, just slightly move the left stick in the direction towards the basket, and hit...
RS + Opposite ball hand = Slow crawl cross
RS + Ball hand = Slow crawl Hesi
RS + Back Opposite Hand = Slow crawl through the legs
RS + Away = Slow crawl behind the back
RS + Towards = Slow crawl stutter (not 100% sure, will edit post after testing)Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
I have experimented further and slow cross/hesi/behind the back + dribble pull up (Or the Hopstep button which serves the same purpose on the perimeter) in the opposite direction or a stepback is effective for guys like Wade and Durant.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
Anyway we can put the "RS passing" back to how it was in 2K12? Right now, you have to hold RB and the hit RS in a direction. Last year, you could tap RB to bring up the ICON passing (Same as 2K13), and then flick the stick whenever you wanted to pass without holding down RB.
Not sure why this was changed.GT: Event Horizon 0Comment

In other words they swapped the controls around.
Edit: Never mind. You were right. I was passing to the Center when I held down the LT. False AlarmComment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
Yeah you can flip the default RS functionality... I really wish that was in the demo, along with the ability to make the controls absolute. Also camera options. *sigh*Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
Player doesnt actually jump. But he raises his arm and leaves his feet of the ground a little bit. A guy did that 5 times to me online in a 5 minutes game. Everytime he got passed me because of that. There is no way I get owned because the game forces me into an animation.
But you're right though I maybe was pressing LT at the time. Still though, I don't think my player should initiate animation on it's own without my input.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
I only played one game of the demo yesterday because this is unfortunately a really busy week for me at school, but man, this post helps a lot. I was thinking the moves were basically all the same but you just hold LT for the shot stick and nothing for the ball handling now, but alas, there's still a lot for me to learn this year.NFL: Bills

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
So in the demo, controls are set to camera relative?
Camera relative means I have to do moves with reference to direction player is facing, correct?Comment

I just got the defensive rebound with battier. I took a few dribbles then I tried to icon pass it to lebron. I guess i accedentally tapped R1 twice because the icons dissapeared. Anyway, I had already pushed square and the ball was floating through the air. I said DANG! Then he made it. SHANE BATTIER IS A MONSTERComment
