ratings drastically different in game than home screen in ccm?

i control the jets and thought it was weird joe mcknight wasnt the back-up behind Greene over that Ganaway guy. I had the game reauto the depth chart yet in game mcknight was 2nd string once again. So after the game I went the depth chart and mcknight was rated 59, However when i entered the game and looked at the depth chart again, McKnight was in the 70's rated far higher than Ganaway. A year later in the ccm same thing my first round RB drft pick is rated 60 in the depth chart, but once i start a game and go to the depth chartin game he's an 84....wtf is going on?

Wish I knew the answer to this as well. Playing with the Bears in year two, Alshon Jeffrey is a 78 on the roster and depth chart in the main screen. During a game, if I go the depth chart screen, he is a 72. I have other players affected as well. Pretty frustrating.

        search please...

main screen = ratings based on that (ratings)
CCM = ratings based on your teams scheme

From my understanding, the ratings in the your Career menu are the ratings based on your scheme even the free agent roster. The ratings that show up when your playing a game in your career along with the ratings in the main menu/play now are based without team scheme.

What's a head scratcher is why EA chose to show the ratings without team scheme when your playing an actual game in Career mode???

no i'm talking about the depth chart in the main screen of ccm vs the actual depth chart in game in ccm.

and even if it is a scheme it makes no sense because in order to get the player at his highest rating you need to change the style so it corresponds. Plus if i'm trading a 82 rated rb if i put speed as my hb1, why is his trade rating now 68 if i put my rb1 as a power back?? he;s still the same player, it's still the same plays being called in the game regardless of what style i pick as my rb1, so what exactly is the point? if anything it should be the other way around. at the home screen of ccm it should be the overall rating and in game the rating should correspond to the scheme.
