Short answer is probably not. It doesn't a make you any more of a 'true 2k supporter' compared to those that admin leagues, mod the game, spread awareness of the game by word of mouth, create videos and/or podcasts, help other 2k gamers by answering questions on forums, etc.

If you wanted to limit the definition of "support" to strictly monetary terms during the launch time frame then maybe so. But that probably would be unwise.

Just my take. Enjoy the Dynasty edition :P

No, I feel ya.

One thing I've learned in sales is that price isn't as much a factor for people as *value*. 2K provides value year-in and year-out to me as a consumer, so I was more than happy to shell out the extra for their premium product this year.

Part of it was because I wanted the extra stuff, and part of it because I believe in and value their product, and wanted to go all out with it this year.

I'm sure they would appreciate the gesture, but for me, I'd buy it for me and me only. There needs to be enough incentive to buy it. Yeah, it shows you are a big fan. But what does it get you? If the earbuds are good and you could use them, then it's a great deal.

Might be the dumbest thing I have seen on my short life on these forums.

Why don't you show some respect? Many people feel the need to support things they appreciate with the only thing that sends the message - the money. I bought Quake 3 limited edition for Linux to show that I appreciated the Linux support. I also bought Command and Conquer for the Mac OS to do the same. People do it. It sends the message. Yet, you feel the need to come in here and call someone's question "dumb"? Really? That crap isn't necessary here dude.

Now, don't get it twisted - there is a bunch of over the top homerism in that post. But the spirit/intent is noble, so just agree to disagree and do it respectfully.
