Could you confirm whether or not the game requires a online connection to play?

I would love to have the digital copy but not if I have to be online the entire time.

Man, i'm not sure, but i think it works without internet. I also downloaded FIFA 13 and I was playing online once, and my connection went down. I was disconnected from the game (online game), but i wasnt disconnected from the entire game.

You have to be signed-in when the game starts and that is all.

I started the game up on while I was online on psn first then I tryed it offline and it started up.'

Thinking maybe when you first purchase it you gotta be signed in for it to start up but after that you don't anymore.

i think if we needed internet to play, we wouldnt have to download the entire game.

true you do need the internet to download but if my internet goes out and I am not able to play because of it then that is just wrong.

Plus its not like PSN has been up 100% of the time.

I don't think we need to be signed in every time, only the 1 st time, this shouldn't be any different to say the demo, where you don't need to be signed in
