You really shouldn't have to , they fixed the freezing last year with the very last update so I'm hoping it shouldn't be too difficult to fix the glitch this year....one can hope

It works if you want to play now without worrying about freezes. I've made it through a full season in my dynasty without a single issue thus far after I stumbled on this fix.

Just bought this game and a PS3 Saturday. Read about the freezes but never thought I would get hit with it in my first game of my Dynasty.

I am using Western Kentucky as DC in my Dynasty and in the first game we were playing Kent. Playing 10 min qtrs. At the end of the 1st half I am up 17-7 and Kent scores a late TD (only a few seconds left). I am then advised that my MLB suffered a slight injury and asked if I would like to replace him. I clicked yes. Immediatly another screen opens and informs me the previous play is under review and not to SIM the next play until the review is complete. Then, nothing. I waited 5 minutes and restarted NCAA 2013. Replayed the game and lost 34-19. Dang.

Where does it happen exactly? The game freezes repeatedly at the end of the national championship, during the "play of the game" highlight. Was able to duplicate. Freeze occurred in the same spot each time. Had to sim game to advance week.

Also, in the same dynasty, I've been experiencing freezes during the Coaching Carousel. It happened after Year 2 and Year 3 of my dynasty. I'm unable to advance through all the coaching changes unless I skip to the end, meaning I'm completely out of luck if I want a job that happens to come up in the second half of the list.

What a shi tty game when we have to come up with ways to play it. Pause it after every possession just so it won't lock up. I will do this but it is pathetic.

I am so pissed at EA right now. I have bought this title every year since 1999. They will NOT get another dollar from me. What a horrible company. They have the consumer beta test their games and now we have to come up with ways to play it so it will work. Pathetic!

I think not skipping any cutscenes or studio updates has a positive effect. No science for this, though.

Anyway, bumping because I've been having a hard time finishing games. If I had to guess I've spent more than 20, possibly 30 "games" worth of time on my current Dynasty (offline, one user) and I'm just now trying to play Ohio State for the first time (year one, last game of reg. season), and of course it froze (third try). So here I am posting about it.

Yeah.

This is clearly the #1 "issue" with this game, btw. I wouldn't keep trying if I wasn't happy with much everything else. FIX THIS ISH EA!

Skipping the Gametrack animation by pausing before it has a chance to start completely fixes that freezing problem. 20+ games worth of testing to back this up.

EA..........Please fix this freezing issue!!!!! I'm in 2016 of my offline dynasty and just finished my first game of season with a big win to only get to the still shots at the end of the game and BAM I freeze up yet again! Guys you have a great game here IMO. The only thing that is killing it is this stupid freezing problem. I can live with the other issues myself and love the game, but this is quickly killing the experience. Hey I don't even want to play another game of it now after this freeze. This was the first time I have been hit by it after the game was completed. In most cases it has been half time for me. Anyway.........how about stop with the uniform updates until you can get the game fixed. Honestly new uniforms are not worth a damn to me when I'm constantly having to restart games due to it crashing. To sum things up IMO if the freezing issue was fixed I would give the game atleast an 8 on a 1-10 scale, but as it is now and yes I'm frustrated I'm leaning towards 0. Starting to wish I hadn't spent my hard earned money on it.

I am now on copy 6. Games will start freezing about 2 weeks after getting a new copy. I return them, they work and process starts all over. Mostly freezes at game track scenes but the last 2 copies have froze during the end game celebrations.

I contacted EA sports (I know I shouldn't have expected much and didn't) and you should see their response. Ridiculous.

It's a decent game and I've loved playing online dynasties with friends but there are enough other games out there to get me by.

There's a simple way around the Gametrack freezing. Are you pressing A to advance through the animations at the end of the game? I've only encountered freezes when doing that. I let them all play out until after the play of the game animation is over then I press A and let the 4 still frames roll through. Haven't had a freeze since I started doing that.

I have had 2 freezes when creating players in my dynasty. I can get the first name in, but after i enter the last name and save...freezes. I then have to restart and everything works fine. Not a game breaker and i can see not as bad as others i have read, but still annoying none the less.

Thought I had a good fix with skipping then low and behold it starts freezing as soon as the game ends. Clock hits zero game freezes.

Just had my first freeze last night. I was in the 4th quarter and the game was out of reach so I hit R1 to sim the rest of the game and it froze after I hit R1. It pulled up the sim page but I couldn't do anything from there. I had to manually shut off the system by the button on the system. This is for PS3.

• Where does it happen exactly? Cut scene, halftime, studio update, during gameplay, etc. After Play Now games are over. The screen that leads back to the Main Screen. After advancing to a following week during dyansty recruiting.

I have had several freezes after play now games. Once the game is over I exit the final screen after the end of the game. The game freezes in the load screen that leads to the main title screen. I also had a freeze during an offline dynasty. After advancing to the next week the game froze.
