A vast improvement from previous years. The sounds put you in the mind of basketball
I agree that it could have been more diverse but it's cool. Previous years were just plain bad
imo. I would go through and turn most of them off

I've likely only heard about five to seven songs thus far so how I feel about the soundtrack is really only based on the few I've heard and the others I know are there. And of what I've heard, I'm not a fan. I like hip-hop music, just not a lot of this hip-hop. And crazily overplayed tracks from Coldplay and U2 don't exactly provide a solid alternative option. Further, the hip-hop included that I do like seems very cut up and censored (as I know it has to be).

I'm thinking I'll be running my ipod for most this iteration.

It has Shook Ones pt 2 on it. Nuff said.

I like that track, but I have it on my ipod, so it's still all good.

Yeah I have to agree. The only thing is I wish there more tracks , but the ones that are there are all good

I haven't played it yet. But I really doubt it's going to top 2K11's awesome soundtrack. If it does, that would be amazing.

I love it for the most part. The only bad things are that a lot of songs are heavily censored, and one song that I can't remember the name of, that was really screechy and went on forever that made me mute the TV.

Justice - Stress = Worst Song. EVER

But that is the only real trash song in the game. Usually 2k has about 4-5 horrible-mute-off-2k-beats songs

I still think they need to drop the rap/pop music and go with more official NBA sports music, more of the stuff you actually hear when watching games on TNT or NBC.
