Adidas techfit gear

I see in MyPlayer they have the techfit gear, (like the calf sleeves MarShon wears), Anyone see a way to get this gear for the regular roster? Or is it just myPlayer exclusive as it seems

ye would be pretty awesome having guys like D-Rose wear them adidas calf sleeves and his signature ankle braces, but i think 2K messed up this one for us... as they did not allowing players to use a Pad and a Calf sleeve at the same time anymore

Hopefully they can patch it so the Adidas tech gear can be given to all players. Makes no sense to have certain accessories like sleeves MyPlayer exclusive when current NBA players use them.

I was actually just looking into this. I was about to buy the gear with Microsoft points and seeing if it would unlock for the normal roster. I guess it doesn't...?

You read my mind completely with these two posts. The first thing that I did when I got the game was try to give Derrick Rose his signature Adidas ankle braces..... Of course I couldn't; then I went into the 'my player' accessories options and seen them right at the top of the screen and I contemplated buying them to see if they'd unlock for all of the NBA players, but then I backed out because I would've been perturbed to have thrown away money on the ankle braces for a mode that I don't play. Plus, the Adidas sleeve that Dwight Howard and Josh Smith wears, was available for 5,000 VC or something for the 'my career' mode, but yet it's already "unlocked" for all NBA players....

As you alluded to, this simply makes no sense for NBA accessories to be exclusive to a game mode (how many pages is the "Let's talk about NBA authenticity, artistic improvement" thread again?); especially when it's one of their cover guys lacking some of his signature accessories.

Bought the powerweb calf sleeves. ONly my MyPlayer can use them. They're no where else in the game.

This is really annoying, there's authentic gear in the game, but ony MyPlayers can access it. How does that make sense?

There's gotta be a patch for that. It would be incredibly astounding to know we're only limited to my player using the gear. I've never seen a player with Nike shoes and Adidas sleeves.

I hope so because it's a nonsense to have all this gear and not being able to equip it on their original athletes: D.Rose, Howard, M. Brooks...

I'm sure it's a bug or something.
