I'm quite impressed with this all. Yes, most of these things should of been in the game upon release but better late then never right?

If I could have one more fix added in it would probably be the zoom cam. I also played the broadcast cam the other day and actually enjoyed it however that also needs to be fixed along with the zoom.

On kickoffs and punts the camera shouldnt follow the ball like it does cause you can't see the coverage unit. IT would be great if it would zoom out on kicks and on passing plays because you tend to lose receivers who go deep cause the camera is too fixed, im speaking about the broadcast cam here.

Props to everyone who contributed to getting this patch.

So it appears I won't have to restart my CCM to get most of the fixes.. will I be able to edit my Scheme without restarting?

So what exactly is meant by coach mode? Do you have to pick the plays?

Yes, call the play and the action is carried out on the field.

This all looks great on paper, it appears the Madden team is working hard to right all there wrongs but we'll see when it comes out on the 16th.

Mkay, that was a really nice update. REALLY good to see that they're paying attention, that's what keeps me coming back.

Having said that, I would still love to see any of these I posted in another thread:

Opposing teams uniform editing: I haven't played the Titans in current uniforms in years, I've always played the Oilers. Now I'm forced to play against the Titans uniforms.

Including ALL the teams uniforms! Been waiting for years to use the Chargers blue jerseys, blue helmets, and white bolts.

Damn, I listed 8 changes I'd like to see in the other thread, and erased 6 of them just now because of this patch. Well done, EA. Well done.

So, will all future roster updates now be for only "play now and online?" -with the option to export to ccm?

Since custom rosters can now be used for ccm does that negate the need for separate ccm roster updates?

I guess what I'm asking is are all roster updates going to be "universal" for all modes now?

I think you misunderstood this man. So you can be on the same team in the offline, but you can't control other teams. You can have 4 guys on a team.

So basically EA decided to patch in small stuff compared to what has been offered to us hardcore madden fans for ever, ability to choose any game on the nfl schedule to play and not have to deal with CCM fantasy football

Why is it that your game is the only major sports game that handcuffs the users by making us play fantasy football and not let us run a real nfl sim league.

So I have to pick one team and start a season only to see BS moves by the cpu that do no reflect the real life NFL?

You can patch everything and it will still be nothing if you guys decided it was a great idea to remove all team user control for those many of us long time vets that want to enjoy real nfl rosters and not some BS fantasy mode.

back to the shelf for this game that is actually good on the field but total BS off the field.

2K Basketball offers franchise, my player, and a season mode....They know better.

Are you serious? So now we must throw a party for a company that took 2 months to fix a broken product that they charged $60 for? All these things should have been part of retail but they know they can patch them in later so they do not worry about it.

Until EA does not bring back what has been given to us for ever not only in Madden but any sports game the ability to use more then one team in a season or more users in a season then this game is still a scripted mode and not sim....

Sorry but I dont want to start a season and see a ton of moves that are not part of the real NFL.

That is fine for those fantasy lovers but why take away what sim lovers have always had.

I have not touched madden since week 2 that it came out.
