Patch 3 was just released, and no tweak to the zoom camera. Here are some great zoom camera angle examples for pre snap. Can we come together and see this get fixed with a patch 4?

Vote on your favorite.

#1. The Up close zoom.


#2. The far Zoom. Passing flats would be easily viewable. This is near a Madden 10 standard cam, a very little bit closer.


#3. The top down view, similar to Madden 12. You can view this camera in game by pressing lt/rt on defense when on the current zoom cam.

That would be great if they also included a option to reverse the defensive camera. I'd have to try to see if i would ever use it, but I know there are many people here that would use it.

One gets my vote,two and then three;all these camera views atleast are playable when compared to M13 zoom cam.The problem with madden 13 zoom cam is that it's to low to the ground and dosen't have enough tilt to it

I voted for 1 but since I will likely only be playing M13 after the patch, in Coach Mode, I will likely be using the current one. It is not very feasible for actually playing the game but it might be a fun view from a Coaching stand point. I wonder if camera view are even available in Coach mode or does it just default to broadcast or the classic game play cam.

On second thought, the zoom cam might not be a good idea for coaching considering seeing the whole field would be better for making playcalling adjustments throughout the game. My bad for thinking out loud in this thread but yeah, I like 1 best.

The Zoom cam #2, should show the entire field at it's zoom distance(with triggers). It is basically the madden 10 standard camera,lol. People have forgotten how far madden has been zoomed out the past 2 years. Last generation, and madden 06-11 were much closer then the madden 12/13 standard cams.

I just hope they do something to the current zoom cam. Very few if any really like it. Oh well, we see how it turns out i guess.

1 and 2 i like a lot...i voted 2 but 1 or 2 would be fine with me..right now its unplayable.. I wonder if they even tried playing a few games with the zoom cam after those last adjustments? All you gotta do is play a few minutes and you can instantly see its too low and not tilted down enough to see down field enough when running and passing..especially passing. I hope those tweeting Mike Young can get him to do these tiny adjustments...it would make a world of a difference. I tried tweeting him myself about it but got no reply...what a shame..the game would totally rock if the zoom cam was just tweaked like the first two example pictures above.

By the way OP - (old derek) - Not sure if you caught my rant against you the other night in another thread..i called you out and accused of being a troll,etc,etc.and was giving you a hard time back because of how hard you were being on EA...so just wanted to say sorry for being so blunt and loud with you ..i dont know your motives and a thread like this tells me you are here to try and help improve the game and are not a troll...maybe you care less what i think but i wanted to apologize for being a jerk.

Clearly #1, I just got M13 yesterday. I used zoom cam in M12 and have looked M13 zoom cam videos before I got M13.

Now playing M13 using zoom cam, I so dissapointed. Can't see levels, I can't look for wide receivers and D-linemen coming throung my O-line + I hate standard cam, too far. This has to be changed, but somehow I think this will be done to M14 not to M13 anymore

Hopefully we can all see this get patched. I am hopeful they have a patch 4. They mentioned the best support ever in a Madden, so I am hopeful that they do.

Only thing we can do is come together and show EA this is important to us. If everyone tweets Michael young, we may have a shot?

(co-sign) If we all pull together and tweet the devs we may get this patched in.On a side note "it would be great if some of the gamechangers would help us out with this aswell'we've all been clamouring this for the longest.One would understandablly believe that there influence could get the ball moving in our favor.
