I bought the iPad version. After playing it and the demo, I think I'm pretty close to buying FIFA (on the PS3) for the first time in ages. I'm not a die-hard fan by any means, but I'm really impressed by what I've seen so far.

I use Chelsea, it's awesome playing against Liverpool at Anfield. Every time Torres touches the ball you just hear the crowd go ****ing mental at him.

I'm seeing a huge improvement in foul calls and yellow cards given against the cpu. Quite a few cards have been for shirt pulling.

Is there any way to bypass all the cutscenes during a game? It feels like an eternity every time the camera focuses on a player who inevitably is getting substituted. Button mashing does nothing. Do you have to sit through all these? I'm on PS3 btw.

I was just about to post something similar... was playing Chelsea at Arsenal and every time Ashley Cole touched the ball the crowd starts jeering him. the commentators even comment on it. Nice touch.

I haven't seen any mention of it but does anyone else think the stamina is off? The in game stamina is perfect but the day to day is off, I can get away with playing my starters in 3 games in a week..

We apparently don't have a bugs/glitches thread for this game, but this has seriously happened to me probably 7 or 8 times now.

Guy drops the ball to set up the throw-in, freeze.

Just lost a 4-2 lead over Man U in the 83rd minute because of this and I'm sick of it.

EDIT: Hey, guess what just happened when I tried to replay that match? 88th minute, freeze.

Wow, I can't do this at all. I had three games, 3 days apart, and that third game was entirely reserves because my guys were just drained.

Okay, I'm starting to see some serious warts in the gameplay that are really bugging me. I've been playing along in my CM and haven't seen the infamous "crab walk." About 2 matches ago, all of the sudden it starts making me start doing it and waiting to do the neat little one-two off of the run. Then I go to shoot and it starts making me do chips. Also, my defense switching button is sporadically working, meaning that it either doesn't switch or is so late that I'm on the man after the ball is already heading by me , forcing me to use the right stick to switch defenders. It just feels as if all of the freedom I had in playing the last 5 years of Fifa have been hijacked by the CPU. What gives? I can't sprint how I want, pass how I want or shoot how I want. I'm hoping this is some kind of bug, either in my controller or with the game. If it's purposeful for the sake of appearing to be "authentic," it was a terrible design decision! It hasn't happened until about 18 matches into my CM, before that it was the best Fifa ever. Gonna try another controller and unplugging/replugging my 360 PC receiver, hoping this helps. Something really has gone wonky with my Fifa......

Not that I am defending them not fixing the bug, but if you know it's going to freeze on you, why not just throw it in if you are up 4-2 in the 83rd minute?

Played this game for the first time today, and my first game got into a penalty shootout... and noticed that there was no meter with red and green to signify if you were hitting the ball in the right spot... is this just me or just my television, or have others noticed this as well?

There is a fix for it. It happened last year too but I honestly don't rememeber how to fix it. See if you can search in google.

am i the only once finding the refs are extremely biased towards the cpu and the cpu blocks an inordinate amount of shots and passes? i play on world class, semi passing, man through balls, semi everything else. i just find it incredibly frustrating when no matter how clear my shooting lane is theres always a defender who lunges in front of it.

Honestly, without that, you'd likely destroy the CPU. Or, find yourself stuck between difficulties. One beig way too easy, the other being way too hard.
