Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
Works fine for me. Greg Oden does that for me all day. OHHH i know what's wrong. What people aren't telling you is that you need to hold both triggers. LT to shoot it and RT to shoot it hard! Use both triggers and double tap right stick towards basket. No that doesn't work either. That's making me do a step back jumper. I don't even think beluba or whatever his name is can do the drop step dunk because they don't exist. I can lay it up sometimes but most of the time it's that one handed shot. Dwight should bangin out when he's close to the rim. Maybe somebody can show a video to prove me wrong.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
Thats not a drop step. Its a basically a spin dunk. And it is possible. Being a huge D12 fan, this is my favorite move.
Get into the post without having used a dribble. Press triangle (Y) + L-Stick toward goal or key to faceup then drive toward either the basket or toward the key, then double tap O (B) + R2 (RT) then press box (X) to spin dunk.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
It's a timed thing.
Hold the LB/L1 and watch either slip/pop/fade come up.
Release when the one you want is on the screen.
ANyone know what the difference between post shots and protect post shots is?Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
slip= they'll come over look like there gonna set a pick and cut to the basket. fade is after they set the pick they fall back for a jumper. im sure you know what roll is.Comment

[QUOTE=savagequenten;2044270700]I dnt know if it matters but I usually hold it. Side note in game situations contact may not let you get the dunk always.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
Sirjam can you spin dunk in post move practice. Looks like it can only be done on fast breaks.Comment

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls
Thanks guys.
But I've seen in the control options that we can actually turn off the indication of wether it's gona be roll/pop/ or slip. So if we turn that off (when you're playing on the same console like I 'am at the moment) how can you get it right? If it's just a timing thing it's pretty hard imo.Comment
