i haven't bought fifa 13 but i have been playing fifa 12 for several months so many of my questions are based on my experiences in fifa 12. anyway, i have a few questions about manager mode (or whatever they're calling it when you run a team for multiple years):

1. can you add secondary positions for players (either by playing them at the "new" position, buying "cards," or something else)?

2. is there a penalty for playing guys out of position (a LB or CDM at LWB for instance)? if so, and i assume there is, can you see the effect playing out of position has (e.g. a change in the players' overall rating)?

3. in a related question: in fifa 12, i'd move a CB to LB because of injury and the guy goes from a stud to a sieve... rankings, ratings, and skills be damned... does that happen in fifa 13?

4. will players "grow" (develop) less if you play them out of position (even if their individual skills lend themselves to the non-primary position)?

5. have you seen any players develop traits or special skills as the game progresses?

i know most of you are from north america but, can someone tell me if the ESPN presentation is exclusive to NA copies of the game? i bought fifa 13 today, and my version is the brazilian one. im playing in the EPL with Sunderland, and by now, i havent seen the ESPN content. i played 4 games, but just one counting for the EPL, the other three were pre-season friendlies.

I think it's in NA/Latin America, but only MLS. But count that on me.

Does anyone know how long the stadium sounds have to be? Or is there no limit?

Can someone explain playing the ball in the air to me? On corners I can pretty much put the ball anywhere, but no matter where I place it I can't get a good head on the ball. I'm not just using anyone either, I've tried with bigger physical players that can get their heads on the ball (like Pique or Ronaldo) and they either get bumped out of the way or the ball just shoots off their head straight into the air over the goal. But when I'm on D, I have smaller guys always beating my big defenders. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I don't know how to jostle? Am I miss timing it?

Can someone who's good at headers from corners and crosses explain to me the process they go through (after the ball is kicked)? Thanks!

This is one of my main gripes going back several years, I thought the remedy for positioning was pressing LT & RT while using the left stick but it's not working for me.. The CPU is consistently getting winning position on me on crosses, goal kicks, and free kicks... I've lost several games due to this nonsense, does anyone have any tips for winning headers?

was Online Leagues with friends removed this year? This is my first Fifa game but I thought you could do them in previous years like other EA sports titles.

I'm confused. How do you gain XP?

Is it from actual gameplay or is it from the skill games (bronze/silver/gold)?

I'm not sure if it's called XP still but I'm referring to the points you can accumulate to purchase celebrations, kits, etc.

You get XP by playing matches, skill games, and doing things in career mode. I haven't tried doing the challenges of the week or things like that, but I'm sure you get points from that too.
