..Go to the Blacktop mode and play 1 on 1. You are able to practice all the moves against another opponent and the consequences for mistakes are minimum. It will give you a better feel for what you are doing and you will also be able to sharpen your defensive skills. I recommend this as an added option to Practice and the training camp.

Why is that when I play 1 v 1 blacktop, I get the 150 coins for winning, then if I play it again, I won't get the coins?

Right! I agree.

Played 1v1 with a friend who is unfamiliar with 2k, and he said he had a blast and that it was great because it was easier for him to pick up on the controls that way.

The training camp is really good as well. When you complete you get 1000 VC as well.

Did you hit "rematch"?

I did hit rematch and I did not receive the VC.

However, I then quit out to the main screen and started blacktop again, only to not get the VC again.

I wonder if there is a time limit or something, as 30 mins later I recieved VC when I started a new game.
