    Learning to play

    Hey there,
I am still "learning" to play NBA 2k12 from last year, got it over the summer and still struggle to score much/win.. I play pretty decent defense, just can't score well........
should I hold off and learn to play 2k12 before I jump to 2k13 (and save a lil cash).. or would it be wasting my time?
    thanks!

I've found 2k13 way easier with the shot stick. I was a rookie last year to the game. Didn't know much about basketball and hadn't played 2k since the Dreamcast days. I couldn't do anything on 2k12 myplayer. But like I said, 13 is way easier and more fun once you learn the sticks.

Well if you're having fun you're not wasting your time.

The two games are pretty similar in overall design, so whatever you learn in one you can apply to the other. The biggest difference is a new control scheme, but the strategies and concepts to win games are the same.

ok... hmm.. my only real trouble is... on 5 min quarters i score about 50 points per game... lose usually 56-50 or something like that.. i'll be tied or have a small lead, and the comp closes me out game in and game out.. kinda sucks haha
