another noob question, form what is it and how does one work to increase it
I play mostly midfield center or wing don't matter and I'm pretty okay, not like a pro or anything but I can cross well and good in the air and passing with my shooting needing work but I'd really like to know more about form and how to increase it thatGM of the KC Royals in the OS Arbitration ThreadOriginally posted by theenginePlus, there are lots of illiterate Pro Bowlers. Essentially it boils down to how well a player has played in the last couple of games. To increase your player's form you'll want to make sure you stay in position, complete your passes and don't give up possession, make your shots on goal (force a keeper save or score), win tackles (don't make unnecessary tackles, etc. At the end of the game there is a little window that pops up that will show you your player's statistics for the game (completed passes, shots/shots on goal, tackles, etc). Take a look at that screen to see what you need to improve upon. -

Awesome I get all that but there are times where I get dinged on form even though I'm marking my man in the center of the field right behind the strikers that the back row is marking (I"m a CAM BTW) and I just don't get it. Should I not play box to box?GM of the KC Royals in the OS Arbitration ThreadOriginally posted by theenginePlus, there are lots of illiterate Pro Bowlers. Just ask Chad Johnson....Comment

It's tough to say without seeing what is going on when you are getting docked points. Are you seeing chevrons when you're getting docked points? If so, obviously follow those.
If you're losing form on defense, try playing farther back to help the defense out more.Comment

Yeah I'm not seeing the arrows or I'd know I was out of position so that what was so mistifying to me. I go with your play further back suggestion and see if that helpsGM of the KC Royals in the OS Arbitration ThreadOriginally posted by theenginePlus, there are lots of illiterate Pro Bowlers. Someone linked from the EA forums, that the longer half time minutes you play, the bigger numbers you have to put up. In general, I find my form dips a lot near the end of games, if I'm not involved as much cause the team hangs back and defends mostly.
Solution? Call for the ball, get involved in the play. You get more bonus points for good stats than you do negatively for being out of position. It isn't how good you are. It's chaos and luck and anyone who thinks differently is a fool.Comment

I am not a soccer guy, but picked this game up this year as I try to get more interested in soccer. This is what I have noticed in my career games, is that I can be in position and not doing anything wrong, but if I am not involved offensivly or defensively for a while, I just begin to get docked points and I always assumed that it was for not being involved statistically.Someone linked from the EA forums, that the longer half time minutes you play, the bigger numbers you have to put up.
