To make a long story short, when pasting into the Players tab, your copied data must have column headers in the first row that match the names the tool uses. When you paste data into the Teams tab, for now, you paste it without any headers.
To get the column headers easily so that you don't have to type them all yourself, just copy any row from the Players tab into a spreadsheet and they should show up as the first row.
