Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
I'm so damn confused at this point... lol! From your other post:
*Turn off HFA, which I'll do.
Also, in coach mode I should keep sliders the same for coach user and cpu??
Do you also concur that AA should be the level I play at in coach mode as pure ratings matter the most and there's no boost/ penalty in AA mode?
Thanks!

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
Yeah... I do agree. I definitely believe you shouldn't be playing on freshman or heisman. If you're going to tinker with sliders, personally I'd try All-American or Varsity. I'm making a set right now on varsity just because thats what Fist decided on and he's the god of sliders this yearI'm so damn confused at this point... lol! From your other post:

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
after doing some testing, i have come to the conclusion that the threshold is a big reason why big plays occur, therefore since many people insist on playing on such a low threshold, you are going to see alot of deep passes work. i am now playing on a threshold of 60, and will be testing the game with it at this level.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
yea these sliders are intended for coach mode only, i can not vouch for any other mode.Going to give your sliders a shot when I get home. Tried them for a half in 1-button mode last week thinking they would play the same as coach mode, which is not the case.
Will report back w/ Texas- Oklahoma stats later on tonight. Will play only in coach mode this time around.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
i know for certain that you will not be able to make it difficult enough for the user in coach mode on varsity. i started testing these out in varsity but could not make it difficult enough for the user so i went up to heisman. considering how i already have user qb accuracy to 0, and cpu pass coverage to 100 on heisman, i dont think that all american would be able to be difficult enough either. also i have put so much testing into heisman that i just dont think i want to try another level now. however in other modes aa difficulty might work.Yeah... Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
Try CPU Pass Coverage at 0. The slider is inverted for the CPU. So, yes it is possible. 1 game switch it. Leave all the rest the same and watch the CPU shutdown your pass game. I just found this out or I would have told you sooner.i know for certain that you will not be able to make it difficult enough for the user in coach mode on varsity. i started testing these out in varsity but could not make it difficult enough for the user so i went up to heisman. considering how i already have user qb accuracy to 0, and cpu pass coverage to 100 on heisman, i dont think that all american would be able to be difficult enough either. also i have put so much testing into heisman that i just dont think i want to try another level now. however in other modes aa difficulty might work.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
i tested this out and at first i thought u were right since it was really hard to pass. but after i strung together some good passes, the cpu could not stop me and i was just having my way with them in the pass game. also the deep ball was even easier to hit. i was not convinced that 0 cpu pass coverage is harder then 100. i am sticking with 100 pass coverage until otherwise convinced.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
i am currently testing this using 0 cpu pass coverage under the assumption that the slider is inverted meaning 0 would be the highest and 100 the lowest. i havent completely come to a decision if the slider is in fact inverted. i will need more games before coming to a definitive decision on this.Comment

I can tell you 100% that this slider is inverted.i am currently testing this using 0 cpu pass coverage under the assumption that the slider is inverted meaning 0 would be the highest and 100 the lowest. i havent completely come to a decision if the slider is in fact inverted. i will need more games before coming to a definitive decision on this.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
after doing some more testing, i am starting to believe that it is. i played 2 games with 100 pass coverage, then 2 games at 0 pass coverage. my comp% went down by 9 percentage points when i had a 0 pass coverage. my first real test will be when i play an away game. i am keeping this at 0 pass coverage for now. i actually like the fact that 0 is the hardest since this does give me some lee way in adjusting the difficulty in passing. if i think it is too difficult then i can just raise the slider. thank you for bringing this to my attention.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
ive seen enough. i had the threshold at 100 and i am convinced that the only way this game is even playable is with house rules, such as only picking coach pick or something. this is obviously due to this damn db glitch that ea still hasnt fixed. this is really sad because other then this, the game is the best ncaa game ever made. if i use the coach pick house rule then i will probably go back down to 40 threshold since obviously the threshold doesnt fully fix the problem anyway.Comment

Yeah, I've just gone to simming and recruiting. Hopefully this next patch is followed by a tuner that can make the game a bit more playable.

Re: NCAA Football 13 Coach Mode Sliders
yea you can still at least do a sim dynasty or in coach mode you could just use coach pick to compensate for the glitch. i already knew that this glitch couldnt be fixed in regular mode, i was just holding on and hoping that it could be fixed in coach mode. with my last test i proved that it can only be fixed if you use the coach pick house rule. cpu vs cpu would still be a good mode to look into as well.Comment
