Rif they just made the draft classes from 09-12 a DLC for the 09 game. That'd work for me too!

For Head Coach 09 I meant Fail in reference to its Commercial sales. Which were probably because of the issues I stated. I Should have expressed that better so i apologize. And Yes, I know User control would no longer make it Head Coach, but it would have been tits if it had it. As it stands, for what is was initially designed to be, a coaching game, I can see no better Football simulation.

The game itself is absolutely solid, throw in the multi like you say and top it off with additional user control along with its coach mode and you got damn near the perfect football sim. To this day I wish that HC was Madden.

With old maddens Nothing was better than playing my dad who coached because he lacked stick skills while I user controlled my player. It allowed us to play together the way we wanted, but it lacked the depth we craved that we knew Head Coach had.

I just believe EA chose the wrong mode to focus on for sales, but would have been a perfect vehicle for Franchise with both User and Coach mode. But then it would have stolen sales from Madden. But they are both EA so who knows what happened there...Even if all i could do was move the guy in the pocket or on the field and let the ratings and awareness do the rest I think I would have been completely satisfied.

I'm going to check right now if I can pull up a Head Coach Roster file with a Roster Editor. What would that mean to you guys. Here goes nothing...

Edit: Yeah, I just global edited ratings for Head Coach. Further testing will lead to how far I can really take this.

I saw your post in the HC forum, what do you mean by that? How would someone be able to use a file you created and would that cause any problems whatsoever? hacking/unstability? Also, if it comes right down to it, I'd rather have a draft class created than an updated roster if that were possible.

finally, i don't know if hc failed because of sales. all i know is that it was very quickly removed from the table with the team itself being surprised. so i think there was something else at work there rather than just a business decision. i guess we'll just have to wait til it becomes declassified and the movie comes out

just dropped on xbox in Australia

you can edit gear and appearance but not names or weight/height

you can change qb stance as well

you can swap sides but not positions (like rolb to lolb. but not rolb to RE)

Got it here in the UK too.

Frozen twice though, not sure if that's to do with the patch or not. I hadn't frozen before on 13 till today.

i just got it here in oregon and a buddy got it in texas. kinda pissed that i cant move my de's to olb and vice versa. what is the point in switching sides when i can do that anyway on the depth chart. i got bruce irvin for the ravens and have been wanting to move his position to olb so that way i could cut a lower tier olb to sign a backup run stopping de to back up ngata

Are all of you guys claiming to have the patch on the PS3 or Xbox and what country or part of the U.S. are you in? I'm on PS3 and just loaded up Madden and did not receive the update yet.

Could you guys also go into CCM and test out the adjustments to sliders and difficulties to see if you notice any difference? Thanks

Patch is out, I'm in VT. Changed some numbers and a ROLB to LOLB, nice. Still can't figure out how to change my default playbooks for offline coach ccm though.
