To answer this question, you can go into My Madden, Change Setting, Gameplay Options, and then change it to Coach Mode.

So, what's the difference between NCAA Vs Madden Coach mode.

It's been this way w/Madden since I can remember.

From what I understand, haven't actually played it, in NCAA13 true coach mode the ONLY thing a User does is play calling and team personnel, no on-field manual player control of any kind.

That said, like Ozzy posted, according to EAGC Shaun Mason, somethings may be done server side that haven't been yet, so hopefully this falls under that. Will likely hear more from the community managers later today.

I know is early but anyone actually tried to play 2 users on the same team (coop) in CCM?

Also in CCM if you choose All madden, user sliders go to 25? or they are still at 100?

User sliders are set at 25.

NCAA coach mode: Play calling, flip plays, hot route, audibles and snapping the ball.
Madden coach mode: Everything NCAA can do.

In NCAA you have no controller of your players. That's biggest difference, everything is done by the cpu AI, that includes kicking in NCAA.

So only restarted my offline ccm with a coach and i created a rb...yes! I played about a quarter and a half before realizing i was 2 hrs late for work haha. But i played on all pro didnt mess with the sliders but ill say this the bears cpu play calling was better. And not to mention the a.i. was driving the ball on me before i cut it off! Like legitamite two first downs in a row. They couldnt do that before unless i made a bone head play or cranked the sliders all the way up for the cpu and down for me. So my inital feel is good and the game does seem to play a bit smoother i agree with above. Also as far as fatigue goes....mcgahee broke a 40 yd run on the first play of the game and on the next play was tired! Another positive.

Did you just not move your player or were you not given that option because I'm trying to help these guys out and tell them "True Coach" mode and they were saying not playing as a player just picking plays is what they want and that's not how I'm seeing it as of now, hopefully it is just not reading properly yet just waiting for server side updates or something

I didn't move my player around because I used to play coach mode way back when and didn't move it around at that time.

i have a ps3 so i cant get the patch yet. but can anyone verify whether or not the patch now allows us to use our custom playbooks in ccm when we are the coach? never could before and this is a huge deal to me

I know this is a really stupid question but I'm not a tech guy. Since the PS3 network is down for mx, can you not download this patch via USB? I know you can do this for system updates.

Anyone played with the penalty sliders to see if their impact has been cranked up, specifically OPI/DPI?

I don't see where you can change the offensive and defensive schemes at for the Coach. Anyone see where you can do it or am I just overlooking it?

If your in an offline ccm its under schemes if your in an online ccm it wasn't showing up earlier

Bummer. Can't use broadcast view in CCM. Only available options are Zoomed, Standard and Wide.
