    Online Association Sliders?

Which slider sets are you guys using for Online Associations?

The OA I'm in is currently using the simulation slider set, 9 minute quarters and on Superstar difficulty.

I'm wondering if these sliders are good enough for a Sim league or if we should change them.

I had an issue one game with offensive rebounds. I heard lowering it to 40 helps, but there are still questionable rebounds even if you lower it.

For rebounding issues i can precisely say that lowering vertical to 25 will do wonders...

I'm looking for a good set of fatigue for 10mn, and also what to do for a good inside defense and realistic rotations to defend..

Is there a game speed slider for online?

I don't think I saw a slider for game speed.

Why did they change that? It was there last year. Why take things away, just add more things to what you have that already works.

Looking into this as well. Currently, I have some general ideas and will share them as users run more games and I get a pool of sample results to work with. I'll post my league sliders in the forum at the end of the month when they go final. Should be a basic online assoc. template to curb cheesing and promote sim play. Msg me any /'s and I'll try and get back to you..

I tried some of the slider ppl have been posting here, but for some reason they play arcady in online association, like every posession is a fast break dunk/layup

                      Re: Online Association Sliders?

I've started my OA right away with lowering 'Quickness', 'Vertical' and 'Speed'..

                      Quickness: 40
                      Speed:40
                      Vertical: 25

Expect to hear your voices and why you have done and how it does affect the way the game plays..

Lowering these will def help skipping odd quirks in online gaming.

Also i use HOF AND SIMULATION base for difficulty and sliders.

What does going to HOF actually do? Do your AI defenders defend better? Do they stop big men cutting to the rim so easily? Do they pick up players on the fast break instead of watching them go by for a wide open layup/dunk?

HOF boost the CPU and makes the USER harder. Meaning jumpshot timing is harder (due to a smaller release window), everything that has a timing window is harder. (steals, shots, blocks, etc)

HOF is the way to go online head to head though as you don't get as much BS as you do on the lower difficulty levels.

Exactly HOF to go in the first sense for sure with simulation sliders base and then tweak to your liking, i try to balance as much as i can to replicate real life..

                            It's going pretty good.

Have any of you played CPU in your Online Associations yet? They were extremely difficult to beat in 2k12 on superstar and pretty much impossible on HOF.

I was wondering if any User vs CPU sliders work well with User vs User games.
