I mean this is a joke, it really is. The graphics are second rate, Master league is second rate, Licensing is second rate, online play is second rate, the control scheme is awful and counterintuitive, and now this, Summer transfers STILL not updated on October 16th. The ONLY thing good about this game is the on the pitch play, and I'm not even sure that beats FIFA once the CTT's and sliders are applied. I'm trying to like this game I really am, but damn I didn't expect the "off field" stuff to be this bad and this far behind FIFA.Comment

ok I am using the only option file available for PS3.. and when I downloaded the new data pack... and then check rosters.. rosters are still the same. Am I doing something wrong?
I haven't really tried to fix it yet because I been so into MLO.. even though I will say MLO is so damn frustrating.. it's also addicting setting up your team's formations and buying and releasing players. seriously.. that's the addicting part.. the frustrating part is everyone is so dam good online. I swear my record in MLO is a joke.. I'm like 7- 5 - 27 and all my wins is from playing coach mode or the other team quit or lost connection before match. even though I have never got my first win I will say this mode is pretty addicting..
one of the very frustrating aspect I try not to get mad about anymore is when I get matched up with someone that has the likes of Pato and world beaters on their squad and ranked a lot higher than me. I try to play all defense but I still don't have a chance.. lol it's so damn frustrating... although in coach mode I have been able to beat one of these teams.Comment

go into edit mode>transfers>and press triangle, that will update the rosters.Comment

I guess they didn't fix the injury/stoppage time issue? I play 15 minute halves, and I never get more than 1 minute of extra time, regardless of how many injuries, goals or stoppages there are. It's always either 1 minute or 0 minutes. Is this just an Xbox version issue? Vidoes I've seen on youtube from the PC version have more extra time.Comment

This is no doubt a problem. I'm also continuing to get the ref blowing the whistle at times where he shouldn't during injury time. I'm also still seeing ridiculous fouls. Yesterday my player was hit twice on the leg by two different players during one play in the opponents box. Like legitimately hit in the leg by a player going for a standing tackle. They never stopped play to give me the PK because I still had possession of the ball, even though there's no doubt play should have been stopped and I should have been given a PK. Overall it's tough playing this game and seeing the little extras that FIFA does have and PES is severely lacking. Things I'm talking about are allowing play to continue when a player is fouled but then going back and addressing the previous foul, injury time properly done, and there's more but I can't think off the top of my head.
The reason I'm playing though is because the gameplay is just so much better than FIFA. It just feels so much more like soccer. This is what keeps me from going out and buying FIFA because as of now those little things FIFA has included in their gameplay, are the only things missing from PES that would make this game one of my favorites.
It's like everyone has said though, there are things that one game does great and the other doesn't but ultimately you have to chose on the biggest part, GAMEPLAY. For me that's why I play PES. I cannot wait for Daymos v3 option file to start my Chelsea ML. I'm so sick of playing Exhibition games. In roughly 60 games I got my first penalty tonight with Harry Kewell. He cut in from the corner wing and was crunched by two tacklers as he passed the ball.
Scholes hammered the ball top left, and you guessed it. The CPU saved it.
we need a facepalm smiley, and pronto.
I have been seeing 3 & 4 minutes regularly in my games as injury time though. I'm on PS3.
In general, I'd love to see more injuries, more cards, more penalties longer injury/ stoppage time.
I've also noticed players with high form ratings, don't seem to be recognised if you're playing in top player ML. I have Ramirez whos a 7 for form, and he's had a purple or blue bar my entire ML so far and I'm about 6 games/ weeks in. Meanwhile Scholes who's a 4 has been green or yellow the entire time.
Maybe I'm not figuring out the whole form thing, but it just seems off to me.Comment

15 minute matches in PES are 7.5 minute halves. You can't choose a half length in PES, only match length (I have no clue why, it's dumb).
That would be why it moves twice as fast, because it is.Comment

Well, switching to 30 min didn't affect the stoppage/injure time issue, unfortunately. Just played a half, gave up 4 goals (woo hoo), 4 fouls on my side, 2 on the CPUs ... and 0 minutes of stoppage time.Comment

DP 2 is supposed to be available on Monday, October 22.
