Play a few more games just to make sure this wasn't a fluke since it was the first game after tweaking the sliders to the black set.. Sliders take a game or two to really kick in sometimes after you tweak something.

Yeah you were right. Played 2 games with Vikings. Haha got thrashed first game, 4 accuracy killed poor Ponder. But good challenging fun games. Had to up WR catching to 45. On 40 Harvin dropped a lot of balls when he was wide open, little bit unrealistic for me. But besides that, sliders are giving me good games

Is the 75 rule for each set still in effect? Being that default all madden has catching and break tackles at 50, yet gameplay is all madden I am assuming it is not?

I'm sticking with the 75 and under rule especially since they are using the play now code for CCM which goes by that. From what I hear default all-madden with the catching and breaktackles at 50 has the CPU playing like trash so I'm assuming it's the overall gameplay because they took those categories over the 75 limit because people were complaining about the drop passes with the catching at 25.. Instead of them tuning the catching at 25 they raised it to 50(Lazy)..

Haha! Yeah you have to give the sliders a game or two to really kick in after tweaking something.. I usually restart the game save and restart my system a few times to make sure the sliders are kicked in and rolling by the time I play after I tweak something.. It's weird that it does that but it's been like that for the past few years.. The CPU usually doesn't play good in that first game..

Yeah catching will be at 45. I'll make the change when I get home from work..

They got the ball first and a 57 yard pass to Brown set up a fg. I got it, but after a first down catch Nicks fumbled at midfield. They got another fg 6-0. on the ensueing kickoff Jernigan fumbled and Dwyer punched it from one yard to make it 13-0 after one. We finally broke through with 11 mins left in the 2nd when Eli hit Bennett for a 15 yard TD. The defense held strong and it stayed 13-7 at half. I was driving to start the 2nd half, but made a bad read and threw a pick in the redzone. I bounced back, got a stop and drove down for a 2 yard Bradshaw TD to make it 14-13 and it stayed that way until a min into the 4th when Eli hit Bennett for a 1 yard TD making it 21-13. They drove down, but we held them to a FG making it 21-16. We put the game away when Eli hit Cruz for a 70 yard TD. Tynes chipped in a FG with 1:48 left. When I played prevent they got a TD with 58 seconds left to Brown, but didn't recover the onside and another win in the bag.

Am I the only one getting ripped on the ground with the blue set? It's brutal to tackle even average backs, they bounce off like flies!

I'm using the black set and they bounce off my defenders as well.

If it continues to be a problem lower the CPUs rushing to the red set...

Ok I raised the USER catching back to 45 and here are the other changes I made to the front page..

On all 4 sets I raised the USER catching back to 45, raised the USER INTs to 45, and lowered the USER pass reaction is 30..

On the Green set I raised CPUs INTs and Catching back to 45.

On the Red set I raised the CPUs INTs and Catching to 60.

On the Blue set I raised the CPUs INTs and Catching to 75.

On the Black set I raised the CPUs INTs and Catching to 90.

That was a tight one man.. Seems like you are having some great games with the patch. Make sure you plug in those new tweaks I just made..

Jarodd, I know you say it's a must for threshold to be at 0, which I have always agreed with, but i'm noticing a trend. Everytime I play someone like Hester, DeSean Jackson, or guys with 95-99 speed ratings... they just blow by my corners for TD's every single time and I just get dominated.

I played against the Bears and Hester had 300+ receiving yards and like 4 TD's. I restarted the game and he did just about the same thing. In real life, he doesn't do THAT much damage with speed. It's almost unplayable playing against speedy WR's. Deep pass after deep pass for TD's.

What is your opinion on raising the threshold?

Are you putting a safety over top? Desean Jackson can burn any corner one on one, running a fly route if given a clean release

If you have a fast corner, try pressure and pressing the receiver with a safety on top

Yes, safety over the top and I have either finnegan or Jenkins on the fast guys and both finnegan and Jenkins are above 92 speed with high man cover ratings, and still get blown by! It's only with the very fast WR's though. But I'd rather not lose every game against a team with a fast WR. It's my only complaint at this point.

When I get torched like that I'm usually in some kind of 5 or 6 man blitz and it still doesn't happen often unless I press. When I play with safety help over the top that usually doesn't happen. Are you pressing your DBs and leaving them one on one? The USER INTs at 45 should help the deep coverage out some but you really have to pay attention to the matchups man..

Yeah on 1 of them I remember I was running 2 man under, Finnegan was on Hester, not press, and Hester just zipped past Finnegan and my SS Stewart wasn't even close to him. One of the other ones I played Cover 4 zone and Hester once again just blew by the defense. I'm usually VERY solid in coverage, that's why this baffled me so much.

I suppose I'll just keep an eye on this. I'm going to play the Bears again and hopefully this time I can contain Hester.

Is your safety reacting properly? He should be back there defending it. You might need to start pressing sometimes when you have safety help over the top.. I haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary with the deep pass...
