Probably either the 23rd or (more likely) the 30th. While Xbox updates can go out any day, Sony only does them on Tuesdays. I'd assume EA wants to have both platforms go out on the same day if possible.

*crosses fingers* hopefully it was removed because the outcry to fix the db glitch so they went back to try to fix it. I don't mind a slight delay if it got fixed!!Comment

I doubt it. Really all they would have to do is set their coverage to normal or conservative. Right now it's set to aggressive. That could be something that's fixed with a tuner.

Well maybe they're working on the tuner so they can be released on the same day! Stay positive

The Show & Uncharted are 2 very good reasons to own a PS3. There are games that come out for XBOX I wish I could play but nothing that has made me HAVE to buy it...yet.Comment

When playing defense in a dynasty, I cannot "key" on a specific offensive player. The option to do it is there, but when I push the corresponding button, nothing happens. This only happens vs the CPU. Vs a human it works. Will this be addressed at some point?Comment

I know this won't be fixed and probably never will but man... I am SO TIRED of the suction blocks the offensive line makes. Last night OK St's qb went on an option and kept it, I was usering the DE and he blows by me while I'm stuck fighting like I'm still trying to get to the qb.
THEN I start pass rushing, still the DE, I can tell the lineman are pulling and trying to set up a screen, I go running towards the HB and I get blocked IN REVERSE! By in reverse I mean I was running towards the HB, stood right in front of him while a lineman just trotted his way back down towards me (at least he was smart enough to realize I was there) and it instantly engaged in a blocking sequence allowing the screen to work.
And they said suction blocks were a thing of the past.Comment

The games have still held up against time the only thing that has gotten better is graphics but at the expense of realism. We were younger back in the day but people still put those games in and play. Now go suck on your pacifier.Comment

I'm not sure how you can argue worse graphics=more realism.
That's what I see is the biggest issue of this generation of football games. As the graphics get better it leads to us all noticing the smaller things more. I mean NCAA 06 people couldn't complain about equipment being wrong or anything like that. We just took it as it was.
The little quirks in the game we accepted because it was just the way it was. Now with graphics the way they are we can pick out tiny flaws, we can see things that are flat out wrong, and we look at the improved graphics and just assume the rest of the game should have improved that much. Plus the ability to patch games just has every gamer making demands. We aren't paying more than we used to for games, but we expect so much more.
I'll agree that the gameplay needs some improvement but I recently went back and played NCAA 07, and couldn't do it. The graphics, the dynasty mode, I prefer that stuff on NCAA 13. In some people's minds the gameplay then was head and shoulders above where it is now, but for me I just don't see it as being enough better to justify ignoring the weak graphics.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights
NCAAF: Ohio State
NFL: Minnesota Vikings
MLB: Chicago CubsComment

By realism I mean players played by their ratings. I think of Tecmo even. Yeah it was little dots pretty much but the players played how good they were. That's definitely something that is missing. You can tell a 99 player from a 89 and and 89 from a 79 but what about all the inbetween? That's what I meant by realism..I'm not sure how you can argue worse graphics=more realism.

Yeah, it's amazing how there seem to be steps as far as how different guys play. Using Cal Keenen Allen as a 91 WR is a beast, while my 80 overall number 2 WR can't get off the line.By realism I mean players played by their ratings. I think of Tecmo even.
